For several generations people live in the underground city, illuminated only lanterns. The creators of the city were hoping that people will come to the surface after 200 years, and left instructions sealed in a time capsule. The capsule was kept and handed down from one mayor to the next. However, by coincidence, this chain is broken, and the casket with instructions was lost. Long gone 200 years, food supplies are finishing, and the heart of the underground city - Power Generator - exhausted time of its action and running, literally, on parole, but the mayor sees no big problem ... for himself and is not going to look for ways to save for the remaining people. Forgotten instructions accidentally finds Lina, and now she and her friend Dong trying to decipher the message, to overcome human distrust, fear, avoid traps, persecution by the police and residents to help a dying city to find its way into a new world. The film is based on the novel of the American writer Jean Dupre, which was published in 2003. This is the first book of a trilogy, the second "People Sparks" was published a year later, and the final part was published in August 2008.
