The Princess Diaries

Fifteen Mia lives in San Francisco and lead a normal life of American teenager. But her father dies, and Mia finds out that he was a prince of a European country, and now she is the only heir to the throne. Her grandmother, the Queen is coming to California to tell Mia about her origin and to find out whether she will take the throne. She wants to make Mia a real princess, by teaching etiquette and manners. To her sixteenth birthday she must decide whether to go to Europe to run the country, or stay with her mother in San Francisco, leading the ordinary life of an American teenager. Mia - an interesting person, even with her hair problem, but with imagination and brains everything is in order. All is good, but the girl is not lucky with the guys, and now on her fragile shoulders falls the duty shocking to be a princess of Genovia. The film is light, easy to watch, well, forgettable, respectively. A girl's movie. The book, oddly enough, even makes you wonder about the path of self-actualization, which was held at Mia.
