Before I get flamed for asking how to get this thing to work. I just wanna let you know this is the first out of I don't know.... 30 games I've ever had trouble getting to work.... I can get it installed no problem. However, I can't get the crack to work. I tried burning each CD to a disk, and that'll get me to the menu where it asks if you wanna play Shadows of Amn or Throne of Bhaal. Well I select shadows, it asks me to swap disks, and BAM the game freezes. I tried loading with said disk and it still freezes... I've also tried mounting the playing disk with PowerISO and still no luck... So guys I'd appreciate some help, and I'm going to go ahead and thank you in advance....

alright I'm having a slight issue. It isn't with installing, the comments earlier helped with that, but rather with the starting of the game. it tells me to configure first since it is my first time. thats cool, so I configure it. then I click ok and it doesn't start the game nor does it let me play the game from the launcher (just tells me to configure it.) any advice would be appreciated

Hi guyz! I've installed it and ot works just fine except just one issue. Actually i'm still laughing about that. In windowed mode all is okay, but in fullskreen the whole image gets turned upside down. WTF? :))) Does anyone have an idea about that? And all is okay in other games :))

i am soooooooooooooo pissed right now. i hadj ust thrown out my origional copies of this game because i was sure i need a cd key to install it and i only had the cd's! GAHHHHH! Well, I don't know if anyone will even bother to reply to this one... but I am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff, and I am have no clue what I am doing. I can't even get past double clicking on Setup.exe in the first CD. I can't get past "insert CD 2"... I don't see a readme in the files that could possibly help me... The torrent works, installed and runs just fine. Unfortunately I can't hear the characters speak. I've searched everywhere for a solution, but I guess the game is just a little too old. The game is still playable with captions, but one of the best parts of this game is the voice acting. :(

Okay, I don't have blank CDs, so I've always just transfered it into file-folders on my drive. This has always worked for me in the past, and it even worked with this game on my previous computer. Hey guys: for those of you that have the installation problem at 95% and it asks for disc 1, try this. its easy. i am using windows xp with SP3. You need daemon tools lite 4.12.4. What i did was simple, but didnt work the first time. all i did was turn on all the emulation options, and retried the (full) installation. It asked again for cd1 at 95% and all i did was reload the cd1 in Daemon tools and boom. it worked. thanks to the uploader! Below is the post that helped me. Works great, had zero problems. And I'm normally the first to get the short end of the stick. Installed the game with the Full setting (game runs from HD rather than discs) using Daemon tools 4.10 with all four emulation options turned. And for people who have trouble with it asking for disc 1, all you have to do is mount the very first disc, 'BG2_CD1.iso'.

ENG : I found the solution. You have to use Only Daemon and creating one virtual drive by one. It will ask you for the cd1, then the cd2. You'll need to disassemble and reasseble the drive with the cd2.iso etc... until the cd4 a the end of the installation. If at 95% it ask for à "%cd". Just assemble again the cd1 and the installation will be completed. The trick is to use a only drive for the installation (read the "read me" file, there is an anti-piracy system) FR : J'ai trouvé la solution. Il suffit d'utiliser Daemon pour créer un seul disque virtuel. On demandera la cd1, puis le cd 2 etc au fur et à mesure. Il faudra à chaque fois désassembler et réassembler le disque virtuel pour simuler le changement de cd. Il faut procéder de cette façon (avec un seul disque virtuel) jusqu'au cd 4 et l'installation sera complete. Si jamais il demande vers la

Eh to all, all you need to do for this game is get deamon tool and after you downloaded the game ....use deamon tool and mount cd 1 /cd2 /cd3/ cd4... at the same time, 1st mount cd 1 and install,,, then when it ask's for cd2, alt. tab and mount cd2 untill the end play have fun

works perfect! simply use a mounting program (powerISO/deamon tools) to mount the relivant ISO files when prompted by the install program also the no-cd crack isn't really necessary either.

Look PPL I haven't downloaded this game yet but the problem might be that you have to insert cd1 again. I use cdspace 5 with all these downloaded games and it works great, so you all probably have to put cd1 again inside no need to make cds just load the iso or img with the program and it should work.

Hi, for some reason this game is acting funny. im having interface problems ingame, and i cant type a name for my char. just puts alot of number 1s as his name, and i know its not my keyboard. I cant select different dialouge choices when talking to npcs either. and the cursor just continues to scroll to the left when playing... and ideas on whats going on?

Aside from that, though, it's a great download. Just skip the no-cd crack part, and you'll probably be fine. What scares me is, I can't remember if I attempted to use it or not when I installed >_<
