This is 100% working, after a couple of updates it still says registered until 2011. Here's what I did: 1) Installed application (and rebooted when prompted) 2) Disabled "Self Defense" within application 3) Closed application from the system tray 4) Run the patch 5) Launched application 6) Re-enabled "Self Defense" 7) Installed the key provided (use the option to install a current key) 8) Updated via update service All 100% using Windows 7 (build 7000).

How can i verify patch.exe (virus), the ico files is password protect? so it could (it should, it must ...) be a virus in it, else why this password protect????

There is nothing password protected and there is absolutely no virus in this package. If you don't believe what you are reading, don't bother downloading. It shocks me that there are some decent uploaders that make an effort to release good quality, virus free releases, and people treat them equally with suspicion and lack of gratitude.

excuse me, but when i try to verify the file "patch.exe" with kaspersky itself there is the notification that file ico can not be check cause password protect, so don't be so agressive, i know what i read and you, are you sure?

Absolutely sure thanks! Agressive? I don't think so. Like I said, if you don't trust it, don't download it! Simple. There is no virus in this package and the activation patch works absolutely fine! I would be very wary of scanning any patch with the program it is meant for - how do you know the developers haven't put in code that recognises the patches themselves as threats?! On day three now, with databases updating every hour.

I check with an other antivir, same as KIS, the file patch.exe contains file with password wich can not be scan, so be careful with this

Worked absolutely perfect for about 5 minutes and then I get a pop up window saying my key is blacklisted. Now I don't get all components on updates. And yes, I did everything 100% correct. I guess I just have to buy yet another two year renewal... Thanks anyway :)

hy first it wont work for as well as i started over three times, following step by step the instructions, and receiving confirmation that patching worked right but the patch does not seem to work if your bootdrive isn't called c:/, mine is called x:/, so after installing kaspers on a complementary c - drive, patch worked fine and no blacklist message anymore

The patch.exe looks suspicious. You can open the file with winrar but the archive is password protected so you cannot scan the files within the archive. There are several .exe's inside. This behaviour is typical for viruses to protect themselve of beeing scanned.

I installed it and my pc started to act strangely..like very slow and the clicks didnt respond...and the window telling you that your key has been blocked kept poping up...it was a pain in the ah.ss... i uninstalled it... maybe the updates would have worked properly but this freaking window bugs u so much!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!...IT'S CHEAP LIE!!!
