The beginner New York writer makes a deal with the Devil in order to achieve literary success and become a bestselling author in exchange for his soul after ten years. Years pass like a watch, and soon a successful writer is forced to beg for help, Daniel Webster, a skilled lawyer and head of the most prosperous publishing firm in New York to get rid of the deal. The result will be an exciting, battle of wits and words at the trial between the Devil and Daniel Webster, at which rate will be the soul of the writer. The story is quite straight, primitive and laconic. Its aim to convey a basic idea without all the distractions. It resonates with others, have become "classics" plot of the film - "The Devil's Advocate." It was present on the storyline fine chemistry as a subtle backdrop sounding! Unfortunately, this is clearly not an involuntary comparison in favor of Baldwin's new movie. In the film, there are many instructive moments - something you can learn for yourself.
