this movie is not anti american....it's shows the horrors of war, I don't know other movies of Uwe. This movie is good telling a terrible story. Americans die and VC die.People die in a war. Who thinks that no americans died in vietnam is not to smart. Around 60.000 american soldiers died or were missed. This is not your typical war hero movie.

i enjoyed the film, but then again im a brit soldier, if you can imagine being in that situation it makes the film more thrilling, those guys actually went through similar stuff for real in vietnam,, god bless them...ive read lots of books on this subject but this movie was actually good considering the write up from IMDB....watch it and find out...
