ok...for those of you that removed the registry...where exactly is it located in the explorer subfolder?...i was thinking that just by clicking on explorer it would appear...but it doesnt...so i'm guessing it is somewhere in the subfolder...thnx

@smuggler #41 I observed that the registry key gets created again. So the need for a batch file. Here it is: First in a notepad make this file. I have named it ATI12Remove.reg -------Type what is below this line------------ Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\] "{F8DA290A-C3C5-4879-8BFA-9234E1024F88}"=- ---------End Typing------------------------- Let us say u save it in C:\ If anywhere else, make the changes accordingly. Now make another file in notepad. Name it DelTIKey.bat ----------Type what is below this line------------- ECHO Removing the Acronis registry entry regedit /S c:\ATI12Remove.reg ECHO Key Removed --------End Typing--------------------------- Now you can run this .bat file everytime before you launch ATI12. HTH This is what I have done successfully. But I take no responsibility for any inadvertent typing mistakes that may lead to registry crash!

I also did something more. Just add this line to the DelTIKey.bat at the end: ------------ ECHO Starting Acronis True Image Home 12 START /max C:\Progra~1\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImage.exe -------------- The path to TrueImage.exe may be changed as per your own path. Works perfectly. Tried many times. Now I just have to run this bat file and the key gets deleted and Acronis starts without my having to manually start that too. Good luck! Let me know how it goes!

Thanks brill program, just downloaded in time. (I knew my pc was ready to crash.) I took an image of my entire hard drive,saved it to an external drive Next day my pc wouldn't boot so I restored everything from the external. Voila!!!back to exactly where i was before the crash. Just remember to make a Acronis startup CD. Acronis let you make a bootable cd of itself in the event of a crash:- http://www.whatsabyte.com/P1/create_cd_ATI2009.htm If you system doesn't boot just change your start up sequence to 1st"CD" ,2nd"Hardrive" 3rd "Floppy". Then pop the Acronis disc in and then you'll be able to recover eveything Robb5994

Works fine for me, maybe, because a read the read me file!!!!! first serial then the crack in to c:\program files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\ then click on the crack and restart. First I'd like to thank the uploader ! Much thanks for your effort and valuable time. Second- great upload. This is exactly what is claims to be. Installed without any problems on Vista. The crack/patch did seem a little buggy but it DOES work. I had to browse for the file, then double click through the menu of the crack on the file I wished to patch to get it to work properly. But i have installed it on 3 of my PCs now without any problems. I had been looking for a good copy of this for a long time, very much thanks! For those still having trouble getting patch to work properly, do as I mentioned above for Vista users, the patch did seem slightly bugged for Vista but I got it to work. Windows XP pro installs went flawless. Vista took a little patience but still installed and cracked fine. No 15 day trial after patching completed on either operating system

Dudes, learn to read, there is not problem with patching so it will initially work, the problem is after 15 days, even though the patch looks like it worked, it doesn't. Ho well, too bad. maybe ill revert to Ver11. Thanks anyways.

The only comment posted here, that is COMPLETELY correct, is the one by ROIDRAGE86. Simply add the following text to the crack instructions, and the download works completely and correctly, beyond the 15 days. "delete the registry entry: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\{F8DA290A-C3C5-4879-8BFA-9234E1024F88} and the program will be fully functional. I have tried this on VISTA 32 and 64 bit versions and it cures the problem. I don't know if the registry entry exists on XP or W2K, but if it does it should fix the limitation on those systems as well. If you check your registry, before installing ACRONIS, you'll see that the entry doesn't exist. Do the install and then check the registry; the entry will have been created. GET RID OF IT.

the patch and installation worked fine, but everytime i start it up it crashes, so i uninstalled it. it seems that there is no virus, i have nod32. but if anybody has any idea why it wont work, i would appreciate it. i would buy this program if it worked but seeing as it doesnt work....

i dun no wut kinda security measures Acronis put on their software but it seems that even the biggest crackers are failing to crack this software properly, not a single crack or patch seems to work for more than 2 weeks I think i'll just purchase the software it's worth it as it is a very good piece of software

I have vista home premium installed. I got the patch to work by opening the crack on the desktop and browsed for the file on my hard drive. It said it was patched successfully and I no longer have the window appearing telling me it is a 15 day trial.

The patch doesn't work, after 15 days whenever I restore or backup, some error about the program not purchased will pop up when I try to proceed. See for yourself, Set your PC date in advance(15 days) and try to do a task you'll see what I mean. However I found a solution somewhere around the web, delete the registry entry: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\{F8DA290A-C3C5-4879-8BFA-9234E1024F88} and the program will be fully functional again

I had a bit of a problem getting the patch to work too, didn't work if the patch and exe files were in the program directory so I tried what lizmike100 (post 16) said and that didn't work either. So I put the patch AND exe on the desktop and ran the patch. It worked fine!!! Put all the files and the backup back in to the program directory and ran the program and the trial message box had gone! Thanks a lot for the torrent!

No Patch, No crack will work, unfortunately Acronis are too damn smart, the trial version is the same as the full version, I ran a test, bought the full version and downloaded the trial version, so i ran the trial version and tried to use the serial number they sent me on the trial and it didn't work, so i uninstalled the trial version and installed the full version inserted the serial number and it worked. So this means that no matter what you do with the trial version it will still expire after 15 days, even if you buy a serial number for it you'll need to download the full version from the link they provide after you purchase it from their website.

Work great without limitation... Under XP: just run the crack under the software folder Under Vista: Install the software (AND DON'T REBOOT), copy the crack into the software folder, right-click the crack and choose RUN AS ADMIN, Reboot that's it!

fyi.. many anti-virus programs will identify cracks & keygens as "virus" even if they aren't and then of course removes it; depending on the crack type, leaving your software uncracked again.

I had the same result as dinosaur07tm. The crack no longer works and I couldn't uninstall the program after the crack was applied. I had to use REVOX to take it out one file at a time which was a major pain in the ass. The crack says it works but you can't backup or restore Acronis just sits there spinning.

Simply put a shortcut to this batch file next to the shortcut of True Image and double click it before starting True Image.... have fun! IF you have a Seagate or Maxtor hard drive installed don't bother with trying to download these True Image torrents. You can get the SAME EXACT software for FREE. No BS. Maxblast is a free download and is the SAME Exact program as True Image v11x read this and then download the 105mb file - you'll all be laughing after you install it! http://help.lockergnome.com/general/Cloning-Vista-HD-Solved--ftopict55391.html Unfortunately I have WD drives so the program says 'no go' after trying to run it, you'll need at least 1 drive that is Seagate or Maxtor.

The serial and patch works but there was a virus. Nice try but my anti virus removed the **** the uploader put in there. You scum bags that try to put a virus on my puter.................
