I know you r tired of hearing the same thing but I need 2 know what I'm doing wrong. I got everything right til the end when I have 2 enter the activation code. When I put it in and press enter it tells me that the authentication code is not correct and 2 check if it was entered correctly. It is correct so what am I not doing?

I've tried this a few more times and I keep getting stopped by the registration. I even did the Santa Claus as in your example and still I get the error that the highlighted items need to be filled in etc. All of it is filled in, I even tried with my legit info and it will not work. I get the same freaking pop up error of highlighted items not being filled in. Any advice would be appreciated.

ok... i got it to work... here are the mistakes i made (try not to do the same! :) ) - after patching i clicked generate - i used vegas 8.0 instead of Acid 7.0 series u don't necessarily have to uninstall just reinstall and follow the directions to a T and u will have a working copy of ACID!

SON OF A BITCH!!! This damn torrent, I'm about to beat it to shreds... Why the HELL does the serial number work, but the activation number doesn't!?! YES, it's from the same "generation", or whatever the hell you call it. And why does it say to scroll down to "Vegas Pro"? The FIRST code for that doesn't even work!!!! Okay...here's an issue I've not seen here (though I may be wrong): I start the install, it unpacks, and then I get a pop up that says I need Microsoft Wmf 11 Redist for MTP Support. I click "Install" and get a "Sony Setup" pop up that says "requirements not met. Press OK to Exit Install." I searched online and it looks like a file for a Sony music management app. The installation instructions are virtually identical to some other great uploads by MU and I had no problems with the others. Running a Sony box and have a previous version of Acid Pro on it. Any thoughts?

@ PiFromBRC I've tried to find the answer to this too, and an acquaintance is having errors too with Acid 7 (I haven't looked at it yet, not sure if it's due to this). Besides that software you found, the only other thing I've seen is that installing Windows Media Player 11 fixes the WMF 11 error on some sony software.

Ok after uninstalling and reinstalling a thousand times, I FINALLY figured out what I was doing wrong and this may help others who r having the same problem with the activation code. First, and it has been repeated numerous times on the comments, follow the instructions. My problem was when I tried to place the keygen patch in my program files and run it under administrator, "I copied the keygen folder with the keygen program inside." That was the issue with me. After I followed the instructions, this time I actually copied the keygen patch inside the keygen folder and pasted it in my program folder. I then generated and patched, followed the registration. When I entered in the activation code, it WORKED FINALLY! Man I'm so happy! So for the ones who have issues when they get to the activation code, it will most likely be because you copied the keygen folder to your program files rather than just the keygen program inside the folder. Do it that way and it should work.

Haha! I got this working immediately right after I downloaded it. I'm using XP. Many thanks to the uploader. You have to install first the software before you patch it. Use the "acid pro 7.0 (build 502)" when patching.

Comment 41 and 55 are REALLY IMPORTANT. Especially comment 55 When you do the autheunticity code make sure you actually right click the code and click select all, then right click again and click copy. then paste it into the authuenticity field. WHen you setup just setup into the default locations, its important to copy the keygen into the location that originalbomboi (comment 55) told us. Before you do this though, you should to what comment 55 (salsakid) tells you. TO do what he said, go to start (windows users) and click run. Now type in regedit and click ok. then go to the locations and delete the entire folder.

When i choose Vegas Pro 8.0a (build 179) it will patch the folder but then later serial number wont work because it says that the serial number starts with 1k0 but the vegas pro serial number starts with 1fw and when i choose ACID Pro 7.0 (build 502) it wont parch at all.. it says: "An error has occured while patching the fil(s)!" and yes i reinstalled the game everytime i wanted to patch again... What is the problem? anyone knows it? I have vista btw and i did run as administrator..

I wasted all my time downloading what you've uploaded and now when I install, the Keygen says that patch files occur errors while patching and after I paste the serial key, the authentication key is wrong. I did not even click on generate again at all but still this problem!. All the other ACID software which I have cracked are working perfectly but this, I know how to crack! Wow! what a waste of time

Hey guys I had same problem. Running vista Ultimate. Got the same error as most of you. Used regedit to delete any keys refering to sony AFTER I unistalled all sony programs (Soundforge, old versios of Acid). DELETE: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Creative Software HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Media Software HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sony Creative Software Reinstalled Acid, followed the .nfo instructions (Install to the default address) Patch works and so does Acid. No sound problems either. hope that helps those w/ problems

To anyone having trouble installing... here is what is going wrong. The keygen generates keys for many programs, not just the one you are trying to use. You must choose the program you are trying to use from the drag down box to generate a key for it. Also, if you get tired of the annoying music, there is an option to click EXIT on the box you can use after the download is complete.

I admittedly can call myself a Torrent NOOB!!!! And even I got DL to work, Masteruploader many many thanks on a job well done. 100 out of 10! I used ACID 4.0 for years and this DL just blew me away. Like others said, follow carefully comment 41. (Key PARTS of getting it right!!!) *copying and pasting the keygen to C:\Program Files\Sony\Acid Pro 7.0 At first I had trouble getting past the authenification process, but i noticed that i had the program open(acid pro 7), once i closed acid pro 7, it processed fine. Then BAM, a great working program.

hey i know plenty of ppl already said this, but im completely new to this. its my first time trying it.......i have windows vista....i installed the app, i didnt run it. its says for vista users open the keygen as adminstrator....now do i still have to do what is stated before that in the instructions in the nfo file...copy the keygen....if soo hold my hand on this one lol but how do i do this. cause i can get the serial to work, but not the activation code...ive tried numerous times, but to no avail. if you could please help me out...thanks soo much... the new guy.

simply copy the keygen then go to program files find sony folder open it open acid pro 7 and paste keygen then follow masteruploaders instructions from there make sure to do sony acid 7 option in keygen thou not the vegas option any other troubles check boomboi post its explained again

Ahh. I feel really stupid with this. This is my first time attempting this, and I can't get it to work for me. I've re-installed like 5 times already. I copied the keygen. Generated. Got the serial number. Hit register from another computer. Patched. Put activation code in... And it doesn't work. So, just to make sure... What file is it you patch? ><

Sorry Guys I hate to Post but had no choice ... First off thanks for the DL. Now I have done everything that everyone has posted on here and im still having problems with the authorization code. I Never had a problem patching or even with the serial number ... but it seems as though none of the authorization codes work no matter how much i generate them! Ok guys... Thanks to the uploader, it works fine! Here's the thing: I had the same problem as everyone else - authentication code. I tried everything, read the .nfo file, followed the instructions, read ALL your comments, nothing helped.. And then I SOLVED THE PROBLEM! Now it works fine! You need to copy the keygen to C:\Program Files\Sony\Acid Pro 7.0, not Crogram Files\Sony Setup\Acid Pro 7.0! Run the keygen, scroll down to Acid Pro 7.0, generate a few times, then click on patch. It said "Error" to me, but I continued.. Then I opened Acid 7.0, entered the serial, I have chosen 'register from another computer', filled in the info, copied the authentication code, and it WORKED! For me the key thing was to copy the keygen to a Sony\Acid Pro 7.0 folder.. Hope it will work for everyone!

@ Apollyon 1158 I opened the .nfo file with wordpad. Scroll up and read ALL the comments. Try everything these people suggested.. I explained in comment 71 how I managed to make it work..

When i choose Vegas Pro 8.0a (build 179) it will patch the folder but then later serial number wont work because it says that the serial number starts with 1k0 but the vegas pro serial number starts with 1fw and when i choose ACID Pro 7.0 (build 502) it wont parch at all.. it says: "An error has occured while patching the fil(s)!" and yes i reinstalled the game everytime i wanted to patch again... What is the problem? anyone knows it? I have vista btw and i did run as administrator.. i have this problema. wtf do i do? i dont know. help please. thanks

For those that are having problems activating this software with the keygen, I think I've sussed it for you. When you click on the 'Patch' button on keygen it automatically opens the INSTALLER folder. You have to navigate to folder in C:\Program Files\Sony\Acid Pro 7 and select that one to patch. The rest of the instructions to activate are correct. Hope this helps some of you.

I FINALLY GOT IT INSTALLED!!! WORKS 100% if you have a previous version of Acid already installed, and/or are using Vista, you might get frustrated for a while trying to work this. -Delete any and every previous version of acid if you have one (you can keep the acd.'s and acd-zip.'s) -Vista users make sure to "Run as Administrator" for everything -Follow the directions EXACTLY as they are typed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been using Acid programs since i purchased v3.0 years ago and 7.0 is def my fav. now. Not really that much different then 6.0 as far as the programs capabilities, but easier to use. try some plug-ins from: http://free-loops.com/free-vst-plugins.php !!!!!!!!!!!!!PROPS TO MASTERUPLOADER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem as comment #59, where I couldn't get passed the authentication step until I read comment #96. Anyone that is having this problem read the comment by its_dave_here I mentioned above, it definitely worked for me. Thanks to both MasterUploader and its_dave_here for the torrent and help.

I have no idea how i did it. I have been trying to patch and patch and patch and i could not get it to work. I moved the keygen to the right folder. ran as admin (vista) and about 3/4th of the way thru patch it failed. I decided to just run acid and throw the keygen numbers numbers in before i decided to give up..... and it worked. well so it seems. I will update this after i get me some loops

Might be a newb question but when I try and run the installation program it keeps saying I don't have access to the AppData\Local\Temp folder even when I run it as an admin. I took a look at the prefs and can't seem to figure it out. I'm not sure what's going on there but I've never had this problem before. Any suggestions?
