One problem only. After patching will the video event fx not work properly. It will only show half dialog box of for example colorcorrector, an important program. So i would not cheer that much. I have a friend who have EXACKT same computer as me on work, and original copy of sony vegas pro 8, works like charm there to. And i tried EVERYTHING to get this to work properly. So forget this patching inside here, totally destroys this effect.

Ok guys, this is really easy. IT WORKS PERFECT! I have a Vista 64 bit computer. 1 - Install Sony Vegas but DO NOT RUN IT AFTER (right click and run as administrator on everything from now on) 2 - Open the keygen and select Vegas Pro 8.0a (build 179) and click generate a couple of times. 3 - Click on patch, a browse box will appear, just confirm the folder location is correct, (C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 8.0) Click OK. Patching will begin. 4 - Leave the keygen open and DO NOT generate anymore as you will need the serial #. 5 - Now run Sony Vegas Pro, enter the serial, choose register from another computer, fill in info. Click next. 6 - Use the activation code, make sure to select all and copy to get the whole thing. If you follow this to the T for the FIRST TIME installing it, it will work perfectly! The only problem I am having is that I work with M2TS files (HD files) and it is not recognizing it. I am waiting for 8.1 or 9.0. Other than that, this is the greatest program out there! Thanks for the upload!

@EGH I to work with M2TS and TS files, and I found that for some odd reason an M2TS file with AC3 audio will load up fine, but if you have ACC it wont. Not sure whats up with that, but maybe that will help. Also, build c renders non QT standard mp4 files. To get around that you can take the file mcmp4plu.cab from build a or b and overwrite it in the set up folder of c as builds a and b don't have this problem . Hope that helps anyone with that problem.

If you use Vista Read this. Go to your sony vegas 8 pro FOLDER, and rightclick, take settings, and then change the security so a USER can open it, read it, edit it ext. Then Patch the file.

Look, I dont know what comes included with the package that othe rpeople ar egetting, but I downloaded this, read the nfo file , followed directions to a tee and when i click regoster on another computer, a window pops up prompting me to look for AN HTML FILE. There is NO SPOT to paste in the long code that the keygen gives you. Again.. its asking for an HTML file. I looked inside the install directory thinking maybe it was unpacked with the download but it was not. Therefore this torrent DOES NOT WORK.

The patch is for 8.0a build 179 - where as the vegas program itself is for version 8.0c build 260!!!! How do you figure that gonna work!!! It doesn't and any of the people telling it does is full of ****! Alot of people make up fake accounts and have friends leave comments as well to goat you into downloading this **** of ****!!!! My friend, it works briliantly. I just made one mistake the first time (my fault, cause it stood in the instructions): I forget to take the 'product'-step, so I patched the wrong product to the Sony map. I found my problem when I saw that I just ran a 30 days test periode. But the second time it worked absolutely great. Thanks again for your help!

OK I downloaded it, installed it, then I pathched it to sony vegas pro 8.0, then I entered serial number, then I clicked on the activation to another computer, it then prompted me to save a document which I did, then I clicked on that saved document which brought me to the sony website which I then entered all my bogus info with the serial number and machine number, then it kept saying server not working or something. And when I tried to enter the activation number it said it was invalid. What the hell am I doing wrong??

This does actually work but when I tried to install it the first time I also got the invalid authentication problem. I did a complete uninstall from add/remove programs in Control Panel. I tried a second time and it worked fine.

Hey guys, I have the 8.0b version, and it works perfectly. Thinking of downloading this one, but does anyone know of any significant improvements? By the way, make sure you patch the RIGHT FOLDER! If you don't manually find the directory, it will default to the DOWNLOAD directory, not the INSTALL directory, in which it won't patch properly. After patching, you should be able to go through the process of putting in a new serial key. Good luck! And please let me know if any improvements and if it's worth downloading again. Thanks!

4 ppl having problems with registration. make sure you choose version 8.0a in the keygen as it says in the instructions. if you choose 8.0c it won't work.

When done, DO NOT CLOSE keygen because you will need the codes!!! 8. NOW you can launch SonyVegas. Copy the serial from Keygen, hit Next, copy the AuthCode from keygen, accept the terms of conditions and Finish the installation. thanks you master uploader... guys, u just have to open the .nfo file in a notepad and follow the instructions, but if you had it installed then deinstalled you should first delete its registry on the computer... run regedit in start -> run -> regedit then delete the hkey_localmachine -> software -> sony (all of its components) also in hkey_currentuser... goodluck guys, all you need is to follow masteruploader's instructions.. very easy.. =)

Copy the serial from Keygen, hit Next, copy the AuthCode from keygen, accept the terms of conditions and Finish the installation. If it will not work on Ur computer then please go destroy Ur machine and buy a new one

Just wanted to say thanks... It works like a charm. If you don't follow the directions, you will have trouble. I highlighted the main folder, but I kept getting messages that it would not patch, error, whatever. Then I just highlighted the first folder after the main one, and VOILA, it works great. Any chance someone can upload this http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegaspro9 (VEGAS PRO 9) It is not on any of the torrents anywhere yet, so it must be brand new, and I don't mean the sony platinum edition 9, (home product) I'm talking about the link that I just left here. P.S, I messed up with the serial number as well at first. Make sure that you put the serial number in. Then fill out the registration, then copy and paste the vaidation/authentification code, after you fill out the registration.

well i have very big problem,the keygen dosent work i try everything and read all your comment here and nothing then i go in c:/......where i instal sony vegas and open files,there was something named NGen Tool!!!!!!!!i klick on it then i try again with keygen like this 1.choose vegas pro 8.0a 2.generate few time 3.patch and put it where i instaled program 4. started sony vegas 5.copy-paste 1fw.............. 6.choose second options(from other computer) 7.etc etc etc 8.copy-paste thet big serial of activation 9.and............... 10. it work (sory for bad english)

WORKS PERFECTLY......... People run the Master Uploader[MUST READ] MsInfo Document in notepad.......read the whole thing and you will understand what to do..............right click on tht file........open with........choose program..........notepad........................PLEASE READ or YOUR SCREWED

FOR VISTA USERS WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS: 1] Extract the downloaded file 2] Click Start > Acessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup (or something like that, my pc is in Dutch so I'm not sure) 3] Clean up all the Temporary files -- Now you won't get the "Unable to write.." error 4] Run the setup (in the setup folder) -- Right-click -- Run as administrator 5] Go through the installation, DO NOT open when finished 6] Copy the keygen (in the keygen folder) to C:/Program Files/Sony/Vegas 8.0 .. or wherever you installed it to. 7] Run the keygen AS ADMINISTRATOR (right-click, run as administrator) 8] Select Vegas 8.0a (179) 9] Press generate 5-9 times 10] Click on patch - DO NOT CLOSE AFTERWARDS 11] Open the program 12] Fill in the serial and some fake info to register and fill in the auth. code. Et voilá, works perfectly. P.S. open the .NFO files in notepad..

I still don't understand.....I've tried everything, from disk cleanup until register, but when it comes to the activating the code it says that it is not correct. I've done with register from another computer. Please help....=(

Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 has not been registered. pls help me out i have followed ur steps perfectly.... i am usin Vista as my Os.... i installed de setup correctly, then i runned the Keygen as an Administrator only.... after tat i generated it few times.... then entered patch>C:/Program files/Sony/Vegas Pro 8/ vegas08 and patched over it.... then started de application.... it asked for Serial>then i choose from other comp option> next>next save tat register form>authentication code>Finish and it get this pop up... THE AUTHENTICATION CODE IS NOT CORRECT, PLEASE CHECK THAT IT HAS BEEN ENTERED CORRECTLY. Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 has not been registered.
