Theater director is in a creative crisis, trying to deal with his life and the surrounding women. Finally, considering that we should not spend his life in vain, he decided to set "an important and sincere play" for this purpose erecting a real live model in New York in an abandoned warehouse. He throes of love and suffering from unexplained illnesses... From the beginning, the director tries to bring the share of comedy in film and seemingly happy life of hero. Throughout the picture, we are witnessing his gradual extinction, gradual conversion to a single person, the loss of himself.
