  <pre>9:30 Club - Washington, DC 10.12.07 The first of two sold-out nights at the 9:30 Club started out began with much fanfare and applause as Brighter Days got the party started. Not to rest on their laurels, the Mule kept the hits coming with Thorazine Shuffle and Banks Of The Deep End then a shredding I Believe To My Soul. After the medley of I'm A Ram and Love Me Do, the band dove headfirst into Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody's Home, but the best was yet to come. Devil Likes It Slow was next, and with the talents on Ron Holloway thrown in, this showing was truly dazzling. Then, yet another musical collaboration ensued. This time Grace Potter joined Warren in an a capella version that slid into Ohio which was made all the better with the addition of her guitar player, Scott Tournet. Set two started on the mellow with Play With Fire, but the re-appearance of Ron Holloway steered the set through Sco-Mule and Jealous Kind. Like Flies rolled on into Drums which saw Catfish Blues on the other side. Mr. High &#38; Mighty and a scalding rendition of 32/20 Blues with Ron Holloway ended the set. The encore was most unusual, yet captivating as Indifference wound up turning into Fallen Down which in turn became a raging The Other One Jam that ended the first night. Disc 1: 1. Brighter Days 2.
