I think this might be the directors cut. Its got that rubbish classical score that ruins the spirit of the film and all my childhood memories. Damn I need to find the standard tangerine dream version. Not this special edition nonsense.

yeah, this is the director's cut. interesting but a big let down. the lame musical score changes the whole atmosphere of the film. the American theatrical release version with the Tangerine Dream score is far superior in my opinion....still looking for it
