Mac user here. Requiem fails to decrypt and reports this error: "ERROR: can't open file /Users/Shared/SC Info/SC Info.sidb" The file in question does actually exist on my computer, so I don't know what's wrong.

@enjourni, * Is your computer authorized? If not, it needs to be authorized * Do you have iTunes 8.0.2? If so, I can't help you because Apple broke Requiem in that version. If these pointers have not helped you go post your questions here: http://www.hymn-project.org/forums/ but before doing so, make sure you read the "Read Before Posting" because the moderators there will give you a hard time for asking a question that has already been answered.

Before upgrading iTunes, make sure you keep a backup of your SC Info directory, which contains the iTunes decryption keys. When you need to decrypt a file, you can restore a copy of that directory. The SC Info directory can be found on Mac in: /Users/Shared/ (The actual directory is hidden, it won't show by default in Finder. Use Terminal) And on Windows, I believe it's in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\ If you're a more advanced computer user, you may like to try following these instructions which can make everything more convenient: http://hymn-project.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18743#18743

I don't understand why apple is doing this. They already offer drm free tracks. Plus the account name is still kept in decrypted files. Should be completely legal. I hope brahms comes up with a solution to 8.0.2 soon so i can decrypt the rest of my songs.
