They offer superior quality in the video bit rate however they are otherwise the same. The difference in the video bit rate is certainly not noticeable on almost any normal television however it could be a factor on larger screen TV's that have come down so much in price. So we didn't compromise since no one asked us to on those versions. (The dual Italian/German version is set to launch later today sometime after we have generated some seeds on this current torrent). The pianist is a sad movie with lessons for all concerned. some of the images are hard to take indeed, certainly as war brings out the worst instincts as does extreme poverty that is often a sad condition of existence additionally.
