For all of you who has problems when trying to start a new game and it just repeats the question which difficulty you want to play on. Do as follows: You need to install punkbuster when the installation asks for it. Cause even if you dont play online it creates a profile for you which will "enable" the storymode.

@Erkuz I get the same error, after some reading, sounds like something to do with punkbuster i think, if anyone has a sollution please let us know! If you find some lists of cracked servers and then trawl through them trying everyone, ive found that one of two work, they are fine servers, just a pain to find! No or bad challenge for address
