Hey, you are wrong about System requirements. Cpu does't have to bi dual core, Pentium 4 singl core @ 2,8Ghz is minimum:)

I've tried to install this on my computer and it states that the xinput1_3.dll is missing. I've tried to re-install it and it still give me this error PLZ help I'm a major fan of the Silent Hill series!

The game works fine to me. I have Dual Core 2.83 Ghz with 4 Gb Ram Ddr2 1066 and 8800GT 512mb Ddr3 in Windows XP Pro Sp3 with LATEST Nvidia drivers, DirectX and Net Framework. For me until now, it needs patch ONLY for GAMEPAD and KEYBOARD settings (I didn't use the other patches in your comments. I don't know if they can help, to me). INFO: If you press when you're in game ALT+TAB or WIN button to go to desktop, the game crashes. So be careful if you didn't make a save. (Sorry for my English, i'm Greek)

Alright guys, I went through hell to make this work. I will share what ended up working for me so you don't have to go through the same BS: UPGRADE OR REINSTALL YOUR DIRECTX. If you get this error: ABORTING build [FINAL] v6.34 Changelist: #663064 Silent Hill: Failed to create pixel shader because we ran out of video memory. Try decreasing the quality settings. [no game crash info] Your video card is not good enough to play the game. There is no way around this. You either have to buy a new video card, or if you are on a laptop then you have to buy a new laptop. Hope this helps! Cheers!
