OK. Sort of a noob question, so I'll apologize up front: I've downloaded the torrent files and I now have the folder "Far_Cry_2-Razor1911". It contains all 82 files, rzr-fcr2.001-079, plus the .nfo, .sfv (which I'm assuming is the crack) and the text file. I'm having trouble figuring out what to do next. I've tried burning to DVD disc and it doesn't autorun. I've tried creating a disc image and mounting via MagicDisc... but it doesn't run there, either. I'm not seeing any .rar files that I should be extracting, so I'm stuck. Again, I apologize for what's probably a simple question... I'm just not seeing what I'm doing wrong. Directions just suggest the usual extract, install and cut/paste crack. What the heck am I missing!?!

No... not a REDAING issue... more of a comprehension/execution problem. I have WinRAR, but every other .rar or .zip file I've downloaded has had a file association with it where you double-click and it auto-runs WinRAR. This was dowloaded as just a folder and files via uTorrent... so it looks like I need to go about extracting a different way: Open WinRAR and point it towards the dowloaded folder. But hey, thanks. Nice to see friendly people willing to help a noob whos willing to share/seed. ;)

Once you've mounted the CD image in your virtual drive and installed the program... open the "CD" to browse the files. You'll see a folder titled "Razor 1911" In that folder there's a .exe file "FarCry2". Copy it and find the Far Cry directory where the game was installed. Paste the copied file into that directory and you should be good-to-go!

First of all to help a lot of you who had the same problem as I did. You cannot work the crack or serial number. Well once you get it all installed. Go to the file where you installed the game to. Then open the file Razor1911. Copy that exe. file to the main file that has all the original exe. files. And paste. It will ask if you want to replace that file with the one existing. Yes you do. That file has the crack and the serial already in it. And just use that exe. to start the game.

I see there's a lot of problems with the mounting and stuff. What you need is: - WinRar to open what you've just downloaded Open winrar, select the first file and choose Open here or something like that (mine's hungarian, so I don't know what's it called exactly :) ) - Daemon tools or Alcohol 120 to mount the extracted .iso file Open a drive with either program, and you'll have a Far cry 2 DVD - Install the game from the Far cry 2 mount As you wish :P - Crack Copy the Far cry2.exe from the mounted image in the Razor1911 folder to the installed folder on your PC (C:/Program files/Ubisoft/Far Cry2/bin is the default) if it asks for overwriting existing file (it should...) click yes - Play the game :) And my problem starts here... :p After all this, when I start the game, it says: (0xc000001d) some kind of initializing problem Anyone can help?
