Does anyone else have a problem with the audio not syncing on these files? secret_myth, maybe you can help me? i am using VLC to watch, and the audio is noticeably off after about 30 minutes. don't know if there's anything i can do to stop that from happening, or if it's in the file. Otherwise, all three of these are 10/10, great sound and picture quality! thanks! bl8ant

pass on it. audio is stretched. you can manually fix that but then its still 200ms out of sync. if you want subs you must download a different version because these are out of sync.

The video quality is awesome, thanks Secretmyth... But the audio is really off. I tried downloading the program 'gangster' recommended, but it isn't Mac compatible. Does anyone have another solution? I am playing it w/ VLC player right now. Please Help! Thanks!

Has anyone worked out how to get the audio to stay in sync from start to finish? I've tried all sorts of things with the audio stream but no matter what I do it's out of sync somewhere. It's like the audio was a***d in sections and each section is out of sync by a different amount. Anyway, the out of sync audio (even though it's under a second) makes this one a give it a miss one for me. Except I've already downloaded it....

this .avi file won't play on WMP nor VLC for me. WMP says it's lacking the right codecs and VLC only plays the audio, no video. What can I do to resolve this problem?

ghostwithdamost ,to solve ur problem either download GOM Media Player ,it has audio & video codecs built-in like vlc ,but its better than vlc.2nd option is download the great and best codec pack The CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) which actually is a DirectShow filter pack ,it comes with a bundled version of Media Player Classic Homecinema - http://www.cccp-project.net/ .before installing cccp pack pls unintall all codecs that u have,restart ur pc ,then install the cccp pack. for more info and FAQ on cccp pack pls visit their wikipedia page which has installation instructions and other stuff.so try either of my choices mentioned and ur problem should be solved.

to get audio in sync from start to finish....download this program http://www.kadath.com.ar/frateadj/frateadj100.zip ,then open the .avi file in it and change value of fps to 23.976 and click save. problem solved.

Yup, problem solved.. Download the software suggested by gangster16125112, enter the frame rate suggested by Amtn73me of 23.977 and play using KMplayer http: //kmplayer .en. softonic. com/ (remove spaces in between the linky)

Why the AVI container this time and not mp4? Will it cause some people playback problems? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=h.264+in+avi+container+problem Also, given the length of these movies (3-4+ hrs ea) it would be great to split each of the three extended editions to fit on 2 dvds each, and YAMB (freeware mp4Box gui) could do that perfectly in just a few minutes each if they were mp4 files. Is there a comparable program to do that with these? I've come to love your H.264 rips, Secret, so I do hope you'll excuse my bewilderment at the change of the extension. Who moved my cheese?
