The newer version lacks the functionality and speed pf the older version according to first impressions and reports on the Internet. As such we think the older version should continue to be made available to the millions of fans out there potentially. This download is from a shareware site called brothersoft and is a Vuze file that is simply from their previous release. Its normally best to get such software at the author's own site where available. A couple of advantages of Azureus: 1) You can control the speed to which you upload to any specific peer whether you are seeding or in a peer swarm. You can also exclusive a peer for a period of time or indefinitely using &#34;peer kick&#34; or &#34;peer ban&#34;. (kick and ban). This is useful for example if someone consistently uses defective software to link to you (we have had difficulties at times but not always with folks using &#34;transmission 1.34 software&#34; such as recently one peer from Poland got approximately 46megs of the movie &#34;Oxen&#34; uploaded from one of our stations and yet was showing less than one percent completion progress being reported by their system rather than 5% approximately -we had no idea what was happening with the station so we had to kick unfortunately this has happened half a dozen times with similar peers from the UK and even Germany that use this particular piece of software. But it doesn't always happen so we watch to see that it isnt taking a seed that isn't being reflected into the system especially then they do not seem to tie into the swarm to share when they use such software versions that may be buggy). Some use this feature to limit speeds and uploads outside of the best connections in respect of seed investment of the material. In a bid to gnerate seeds quickly you could limit the share to peers exclusively for a period that are known to return quick payoff in the investment of your seed. Use wisely to avoid abuse only and mainly. 2) you can get a vague idea of completion stats in the recent hour or hours or even days. (The tracker resets numbers too often and at random wisdom across torrents so the numbers mean nothing really, however it does give you a very vague indication at this time). You should use the &#34;country locater&#34; plug-in available on the net for this version (or we will post it separately if need be). what it will do for you is show the flag of the country of each peer connected to you so you know what it is that you are doing with your seed and who it is that is seeding you and for you as well now and then when they flash up on the individual torrent page. You'd sometimes be suprised at who wants to seed your material despite the fact that its dissonant at times to see it come from so far always its clearly meant to be seen as nourishment from those that most directly benefit from the availability in our world of the particular sort of material and its content. A movie that is in french only should be most likely seeded from such areas I would think or where the language has its roots so that you aren't surprised in anyway that your seeding is paying off with the most likely fans for it and rightly so. (I never like to take advantage of those who arent gaining as much personally from the seeding, but rather likemost those that should be most loyal and natural fans of the stuff so that everyone in the system rightly benefits). When setting up Azureus note that &#34;forced encryption' is often an only option to connect with many of the peers that are in areas where encryption is the only way to get bandwidth when seeding to others such as in many parts of Canada. Azureus does this for you automatically by default where it knows this to be the case.
