Have u noticed that after every reboot, the program is reset to the trial version of 15 days, meaning that u have to put in a new reg key every 15 days!!??

oook. the solution is this: install ZA, enter the serial number. it should say that you have 65535 days left. reboot in safe-mode and make read-only the file called zllictl.dat which is in c:\windows\system32. reboot normally and enjoy :)

ok i worked out how to go in safemode, and how to read only after going to properties..why u need to do in safe mode tho?

First of all, you need to enter in safe mode because you can't set the attribute while in normal mode. It won't work. To enter in safe mode you have 2 methods: 1.you need to press F8 before it should appear winxp banner or 2.start->run... then type msconfig->enter. go to BOOT.INI tab and select /SAFEBOOT. after you have done the changes, you need to deselect /SAFEBOOT and then restart. if not it will enter again and again in safe-mode. To make a file read-only, just right click on it and properties. and make sure the read-only check is selected. The file called zllictl.dat which is in c:\windows\system32 is hidden so you need to make sure the you see hidden files. open my computer, click on the Tools menu -> Options, then on the View tab check the option "Show hidden files and folders". I hope this will clear any doubts how to do it.

Did anyone else have to download a hotfix? It says I have to but it wont work, I have zonealarm on my comp. and it says i'm protected, but I'm not sure if I've downloaded everything...please help...thanx

@spdyman916...i have got it to work now..it was the file zllctbl.dat not zllctl.dat..u will know if you have the full version if u have both anti virus and anti spyware and if u dont see the message saying how many days of protection left in your subscription.. @s0ft1oo thanks alot works well..
