Actually people can be stupid, however theories cannot. stupid adj. , -er , -est . Slow to learn or understand; obtuse. Tending to make poor decisions or careless mistakes. I suppose education on the reservations is substandard. I wonder if the Bureau of Indian Affairs is responsible for education on the reservations or tribes themselves have that responsibility now?

HI LaLong, Im afraid your new president is a muslim, his father was a muslim and for the first years of Baraks life he attended a muslim school to study the koran. When his dad left, his mother took up with an Indonesian man and they moved to his country where he continued to be educated in an islamic school which involved reading and learning the koran. He was and still is a muslim for if he is not he will killed because you are not allowed to leave islam. Just because a man says he is a muslim does not make him a muslim and just because a man says he is not a muslim does not make it so. Judge him by his deeds and you will see, all of a sudden islamic countries will no longer be seen as a threat (not that they ever were) and some other group or groups will become the centre of the American problem. Time will tell, watch and see. During the summer I went on holiday to Kenya and visited the village that Baraks family comes from, guess what, they are all muslims. All the coastal communities in Kenya are muslim and they were all very excited that a black muslim was running for president, but they thought he would never make it, how wrong they were. So there you have it, both of his "fathers" were muslim, he comes from an african muslim tribe, the schools he attended were muslim schools in a muslim countries and all three of his names are muslim, also the whole of the muslim world thinks and knows hes a muslim. GO FIGURE.

Incidentally the Bible says only the sixth one is possible. Talk of the power of the Bible. -Again. This is your Kent Hovind philosophy. Kent Hovind has no room to speak on such matters. He spends his time (aside from committing tax fraud) reading children's science books. Your 6 numbered evolution theory is Kent Hovinds, not science. And 2-6 can be explained. 2.) Higher elements...if your that confused with this process google fusion and read before you recite a bigots ideals. 3.) Cosmic dust, which over extensive periods of time accumulates to large quantities triggering physical processes such as enhanced friction, gravity, overall accumulating energy. 4.) Amino acids developing and thriving near deep sea volcanic vents. Your Hovind hero is wrong in stating that it cannot be supported because ultraviolet light kills off these microbials. 5.) Insignificant time-lengthened changes throughout the "Digital River" (Dawkins) in genealogy 6.) This is just the same exact thing only the effects of speciation are not completed. As for 1.), well this is the million dollar question for physicists. Singularity? Big Bang? Big Bounce? Parallel Universe? Holographic Universe? Higher/lower dimensional reality? All of these offer interesting concepts but there is no direct observational proof as of this time right now. So I assume this is where you sneak in and throw your "GOD GOT CREATIVE AND POOFF!, SIX DAYS LATER THERE WE WERE!" Well that would not only violate most laws of physics that are known today, it really just makes absolutely no sense at all. Unless your God is a highly intelligent, advanced race who terraformed the Earth and genetically engineered its inhabitants. Not the truth. Whether he is or is not muslim really should not matter at all. As for the degradation of Guantanamo bay, all that I see out of that is beneficial progress. He has ended a campaign that was devoted towards torturing completely innocent "terror" suspects in an effort to squeeze the truth out of them. Please read about the history of Guantanamo Bay before you make more biased opinions about religious beliefs you know nothing about. P.S. I am not a religious person myself, I dictate my lifestyle on humanist ideals. LaLong I usally don't agree to myths like this, "Actually people can be stupid, however theories cannot." but when I read the previous posters posting, I had to agree. Your statement stands vindicated at least in the previous posters case and his views on the Hovind Theory. And there is another famous idiom that stands vindicated in the previous posters case. It is "Empty vessels (who lack knowledge about the subject) make the most noise". Amen. Kent Hovind did not give the 6 numbered evolution theory. He only split it apart logically so that people could see the holes in its armour.

IndianChristian, I do not feel that it is necessary to state any more of the numerous flaws in Kent Hovinds argument. If you have not noticed them by now, then this debate is hopeless. It is possible that you were too enamored by his witty comedy routine to listen in on what he is really preaching. I am curious though. You still have not answered my question. You claim you are a Geophysicist. Do you agree with Kent Hovind that the Earth is only 6,000 years old? If so, what physical proof do you have to offer other than your God theory. bodthedog, I may or may not have taken your post correctly. There is a popular stipulation that Barack Obama is muslim, therefore he holds true to islamic extremist ideals, (i.e. terrorism). Is this what you are implying?

okay people, honestly arguing the whole SCIENCE vs RELIGION thing is retarded because: -science asnwers HOW, religiong answers WHY and why is it impossible to accept both? -i believe the big bang happened, but why couldn't God have started it? if science says some super-charged particle triggered it, why couldnt God have super-charged that particle? -and as for the whole "7 days" thing...who is pig-headed enough (yes, all you evangelists and such) to assume you know how long a 'day' is to God? and how do you know we dont just call it a day cuz god explained it to us, and we used the words we can understand -there are so many wrongly interpreted/translated words in the bible, why do we assume we translated perfect? NO language can be translated into another perfectly, it is IMPOSSIBLE. sure, a couple sentences can be, but the the entire bible? come on. loud and resounding NOOOOOOOO -also, continuing the translation issue, some of the words used for 'day' can also be used for/is very similar to the word for "age" or "era" and i am not trying prove/disprove anything here, i am merely stating the impossibility/FUTILITY of this arguement. you cannot possibly win, any of you, no matter what side you're on.
