The album is produced by Gil Norton who previously worked with the group on their second album, 'The Colour and the Shape'. As the former drummer with Nirvana, you would expect Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl to deliver an album of powerful riffs and hard-hitting rhythms. The singer-guitarist does just that on the opening track 'The Pretender'. What will surprise many is his all-round brilliance with folksy, acoustic numbers and arena pleasing piano ballads such as 'Home'.
