Returning to the dark ages because ID should be taught along with evolution? Hmm if we are all forced to learn evolution then we might as well go back to a monarchy. I personally like having a choice and the free will to make up my own mind. I guess I am crazy like that.

If you had downloaded the torrent, you would maybe understand the position a bit better. what can I say, believe what you want, the rationality of evolution over ID has prevailed. there is no splitt in the scientific community, and in spite of calling it a theory, this should be seen by the unintroduced as fact, as the term theory implies, that it is the current explaination for the available data/results... ah, i preach to the wall ;), if you really would want to knoe about it, you would look into it yourself.

Intelligent Design does have a place in school - in philosophy class, not biology. And yes, by all means teach it - by letting children discover it by reading the 'Age of Reason'.
