Well, some months ago was FALCO's birthday and I thought about creating a dancemix for FALCO. First it ran not well with this mix and I rearranged it again and again. When doing this, I realized the power of his music more and more, got a feeling for it. And so this mix was becoming more and more better, it really developed over the time.<br />
What to say about FALCO? Most of you may know his songs "Der Kommissar" or "Rock Me Amadeus", but this is only a small part of his music. Like no other he was able to connect his thinking, his statements in lyrics, perfect arrangements and his special type of interpretation in mixing english and german lyrics together just for fitting everything in the song perfectly. For most of his fans he was (and is) a "modern Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart" and if somebody would ask me, I think this is defining his music really very well. He catched the "ghost of time" in his songs. It is really worth to search the web for some translated lyrics. Often it is full of hints and sarcasm, there is everytime a sense behind it.<br />
Much to early he died in February 1998 because of a car-accident. I think many other people are more insiders about this wonderful musician and can write down better text about him. I will not do this here, I think it is better to honour an outstanding and exceptional german speaking artist with my mix, not with words. Just only one thing I want to say here to all my mix-fans from Austria: Es gibt ja immer noch diese Neckereien harmloser Natur zwischen Österreichern und Deutschen, manchmal auch ganz schön derbe Witze übereinander. Aber FALCO ist zum Beispiel auch einer der Gründe, warum wir Deutschen Euch Ösi's eigentlich doch so richtig gern haben und gern bei Euch vorbeischauen und Urlaub machen. Gilt zumindest für mich. Kein Witz. Also drückt doch bitte beim nächsten Mal ein Auge zu, wenn nicht gleich ein Pickerl auf meiner Autoscheibe zu sehen ist ok? Sowas kommt gar nicht gut rüber... ;-)<br />

I think it is really not too much if I say, that this is one of my best mixes I did. Like all other mixes it got only one run during the club's "special theme-night" on saturday. For the first time we decided to play this again at the following day, simply too many people had to stay outside because of limited amount of places inside. The club was filled two days "to the roof" with friendly people, enjoying this music. I hope this torrent-upload will reflect this a little bit. I know, escpecially in America are lots of FALCO-fans, I am sure you like this here very much. If so, pls. feel free to write down your comments. OK?<br />
