Ambitiously progressive without ever becoming pretentious, poetic lyrics which I can somewhat relate to and intense vocals (Mike Patton influenced vocally in places, only the good aspects though...Gildenlow has an inhumanly versatile singing voice), emotive and layered guitar parts with tons of riffs, leads, and beautiful solos, technical musicianship all around actually. The rhythm section topples Dream Theater in my opinion, but that's another matter. Not the heaviest band, but it has its heavy moments on this album. Gorgeous vocal harmonies, every second of this album is memorable. Bands like Wolverine and Stonehenge draw lots of influence from these guys, no doubt. Stunningly emotional and original prog metal with top-notch musicianship, meaning, and balls, surprisingly. I can't recommend these guys highly enough to prog fans.</span><br /> <br /> Well, this albums is unbelievable, The Perfect Element is indeed perfect.
