I had the same. Someone recommended the VLC media player. Its free and its excellent, it plays almost any format. When playing the movie from disk on tv you may have to change the settings on your DVD player. I burnt it on DVDdata disk. For me changing PAL / NTCS settings worked. Its just a few buttons more to press on your remote. You can also consider conversion. I tried to find this film in another format but no joy, its rare. The quality of this file/film is excellent, apart from it being a wonderfull film. Small kids and grown ups laugh together! I am looking into getting the subs working but thats my lack of expertise. Especially with this Tati film the humor is all visual, the dialogue is more about sounds than about words. He was a great director and storyteller!

Second try at downloading - the same - no joy. I tried Media Player Classic, Real Player, and Windows Media Player.
