  Where to start with this.....movie. First off, it's not the 1978 movie also titled Breakout From Oppression about a woman who has people trying to destroy her life. This is the 1973 kung fu movie starring Ti Ko Chen. I'm really surprised that I actually own this movie. I was digging through the DVDs at Big Lots and came across a few kung fu double feature DVDs that cost $3 each. On one of the discs, I found a third movie that wasn't listed as being on the disc. I think there was a reason they tried to hide it! <br /> <br /> Breakout From Oppression starts out with a guy fighting with some soldiers. What soldiers and why were they fighting? Who knows.Then he stumbles across the scene of a mass murder, with the only survivor being an older blind lady. What this has to do with the rest of the movie makes no sense until the film is about to end. Strangely, we get a recap of the scene with the soldiers and the murder scene later in the film with a red tint to it. Why? We don't know yet. This is an incredibly difficult movie to follow, as we switch to a scene where some guys are complaining to their &quot;boss&quot; and the boss says they should be lucky he kept his father's business alive for them to have a place to work. What kind of business? What kind of work? Who knows. How were they being oppressed? I don't know. At this point I stopped caring. Another thing that made this film really confusing is that when they had fight scenes, the good guys &amp; the bad guys wore the same clothes! When there's about 2 minutes left in the film, they try to wrap it all up in a neat little package. <br /> <br /> All things said - unless you're a hard-core kung fu film fan, don't download this movie. You will find it to be about 80 minutes of confusion. If you are a hard-core kung fu fan, you'll probably like this, given that it's a really obscure movie that you'd probably have a hard time finding. Don't blame me if you think it sucks - you have been warned!
