@cdexswzaq107 Ure porably running WinVista ... I know it had DX10 installed but the game wont see tht I just dlded dx9 and installed it ... et voila ! .. all games run again :D

hey i get it succesfully. 1 .extract it with winrar. 2.open the rld-civ4 in daimon tools and follow the intalation wizard. 3.if u get asked insert cd copy crack frome my computer "sid maires civ4"(F:...) paste it on that folder you installed the game there. 4.if u get an erro about not founding some files.click on Civ4v109 setup.exc om on youre game located folder and it serching afew minuts(dont allow firex ). U DONE enjoy

Uhh yeah, I get it all the way to the "loading" part after you press play, but it gives me that CD-ROM error message, and sorry #4xcage, that whole last part where you talked about what to do with the patch totally confused me, and believe me, I read it alot of times and tried to follow what you said, but I dont understand exactly what you meant to get it to work....and that little "hbk@tru.eastlink.ca" link just makes my internet explorer load like 56 internet windows..any help with this is appreciated, thank you.

Yes this torrent works fella's I didint even have to burn it. If you have WinRar then open the very first root file r.00 I think the very first one then click on the iso let it load up then click setup and it will install, btw it might take a little bit to unpack data.cab2. Now that problem has been taken care of your problem Achilllez. Dude you dont need to mount the image go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com then click the a-z list w.e it is and find Civ.IV then download the Offiacl Patch 1.09 which should be near the top. its like 26.mb after that install the patch and then go back to ur folder that u downloaded, I used Bitlord so the download folder. Then go into ur Civ.IV download folder there should be a crack folder seperate then use winrar to drop this into ur game folder and then ur set for ur Cd-rom problem. I just finished the Tutuirol in the game itself it is really fun and addictive dude lol but it is fully working. If you want more feedback contact me at hbk@tru.eastlink.ca

oops. Ok, I have the exact same problem as #8-Calrex. I've done everthing with the patches and moving things and no-cd and all of that. Please oh please help. Thanks in advance

This copy of Civilization 4 works just fine. If you guys are lost, just follow these instructions: 1. Download the file 2. Install WinRAR (If you haven't already) 3. Right click the first RAR archive (not the MSInfo document) and select extract files. 4. Let it extract the files to the default folder (don't change anything), it might or might not take awhile. 5. What you get is a folder within the folder you downloaded the game into called rld-civ4.

6. Open the folder and you'll find an ISO file in that folder. Don't bother to mount it. All you have to do is extract it using right-click extract files. 7. Now you have a folder called rld-civ4 inside the folder called rld-civ4 inside the downloaded game folder. Open the folder you extracted the ISO files into and install the ORIGINAL SETUP EXE NOT THE CRACK SETUP. 8. When you're done installing the orginal setup, go into the crack folder and install te crack setup. 9. Now take the Civ4 icon on the crack folder and copy it into the game folder on your C drive where you installed the game into. By doing this, you overwrite the existing exe. 10. Now double click the new exe icon, make a shortcut in the desktop if you want to (delete the original "Load Civilization 4" icon), and have fun!

The only error I've seen within the game is with the Hanging Gardens wonder. The game is unable to load the picture of it on the city you built it on but the animation can be loaded, i don't really care about the picture on the city anyway
