I've just finished dowload. Game works perfectly and no problems, language is selectable at the end of installation process. For a perfect working game, you've to unistall ALL previsous versions of this game, including savegame files. Now i'm in seeding.

Some of this works, but it didn't install Nightlife? Nightlife didn't show up in game on any of the towns. Anyone else get this problem? Bad system. I have it myself. DirectX 10 misses some parts from DirectX 9. It's easy to fix it, just install it. You can download them at microsoft download centre. It's somewhere at www.microsoft.com I have already tried to find it, and I think it's here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9226a611-62fe-4f61-aba1-914185249413&DisplayLang=en you need a genuine windows to be allowed to download it. You can also try getting it out of the sims 2 cd, or another game cd, most directx 9 games have an install directx function. By the way, are these languages pofessionally worked out?

Almost great (I have a few problems downloading the last 1,5%, pc doing strange, but the download is still working). Lots of people had problems with the game. They were asking about how to add the expansions and how to go to different lots. Does this version work exactly the same as the official version, or is switching to nightlife lots (for example) harder than in the offical version?

I have some problems with DVD2. I might have found out how to avoid the problems, but I'm not really sure it will work. Do I have to set some special settings before downloading? Or can someone perhaps seed DVD2?

No problems anymore, everything is working great. And the missing expansions/stuff packs can be bought (or downloaded ) and installed. Installing the missing stuff is a little tricky, this Sims 2 version installed in a different folder than the one the original Sims 2 uses, so when installing Bon Voyage or Free Time, make sure you install it in the same folder Sims 2 Softerist is installed in. It will work.

hi after going through a hard time downloading it, I made a mistake while installing DVD 1 and aborted the operation. Whilst trying to reinstall it just tells me to install DVD 2 -_- So I try installing DVD 2 but it stops installing infomation at about 7% (I left it 1 night long and nothing to it :S) can somebody please help me correct MY mistake? thanks for any responses, and thanks for the seed ^^

to #18 (and others ) In the description of this torrent, there's the list of what those DVDs content... Seem simple or not? to #17 I don't know what kind of mistake you've done, but i know that if the installation process "freeze" or fails, is because (probably) your DVD image has some files corrupted and/or damaged. Try to do a re-check with your torrent program and check if your image is 100% ok or maybe some files are corrupted. I've resolved much problems with this "re-check" due that some people in the swarm torrent send corrupted datas.

to #30 Just that. You will need Daemon Tools to mount the 2 DVD, install the game. Then you DON'T need anything. Just start the game from the link. And you don't need to let the image mounted in DT. to #31 SS2 COLLECTOR - DVD1 by The SOFTERiST is the image of the DVD1. Install Daemon Tool, MOUNT this DVD IMAGE (nrg) and install the game. When DVD1 will finish, you will mount the number 2. So simple!!

When you start game, and chose your location to play, you will see in the UP LEFT CORNER of your game a MENU where you can add University, Business, ecc LOCATIONS. Pets IS ALREADY INSTALLED, because you can use ANIMALS too....

YOUR SYSTEM IS WINDOWS VISTA... Well, to CORRECTLY terminate the installation process, you MUST be the administrator of the system, and DISABLE the UAC Service (user control security ) So you can install correctly the game. Under that system is not secure that the game will run propely, due EA afferms that the game has a lot of problems... Chage your O.S. ...

to #38 I don't know...I've Win XP and installation and game works perfectly... to #39 Probably your DVD image is corrupted. Try to do a re-check with your torrent client and if there are some damaged files, programs will re-download the files... If your image is 100% OK, well, try to use DT Lite. I've used version 4.11 lite, and no problems.

to #54 IMPOSSIBLE. This EDITION is fixed from that problem... You probably BEFORE installing this release don't have REMOVED old files from other SIMS 2 versions, like save games and so on.... Give a check and re-install THIS release with a CLEAN system. Or try to update your video drivers.

to #58 YOU MUST SELECT your preferred LANGUAGE in the AUTORUN PANEL in the corner RIGHT ! How can be possible that you haven't seen?? Other way, i think, you can re-insert the DVD and chose LANGUAGE again from the right panel, in the SCROLL DOWN MENU. Then program will check if the language has been changed, writing your selected language in the CENTER LEFT BOX. p.s.: INSTALLER IS IN ENGLISH (for you, i suppose) If you're able to write posts in english you can read that program too... bye
