O M G... This is brutal. I love Rips, smaller, easier, and uber simple. It's funny how Skullptura goes to all the trouble of Ripping these games for us (flawlessly btw) only to have folks worrying about why it's so small compared to Iso uploads, and why there's no uninstaller, and all sorts of ridiculous problems getting it to work. It's small size is due to no multi-language support, and high compression in the zip. There's no installer because when your done with it you just delete it and do a registry scan (if you want). Finally, all the problems running the game can safely be blamed on one of two things. Either your computer is too slow/old/lame, or you're too stupid. Sorry, but that's it. Common sense folks, try it out you might like it. P.S. Thanks for another great Rip! Keep it up!

Skullptura really rips some nice games. however, the bad thing about ripped game is that you cant upgrade the game. for strategy game, no upgrade is bad.

I seem to have a problem no-one else has...installed everything correctly (including direct x was getting that error message before but not now) and copied and renamed .exe file but I try to start and it give me an error saying BugSplat.dll was not found try reinstalling or something to that effect. After renaming folder and replacing the exe updating worked flawlessly for me, make sure your name the folder correctly and copying the correct EXE because I didn't have a single problem

I checked the registry for some of the keys in Supreme Commander - Full Reg.full, and they weren't there. The ones from regsetup.txt were, so I just deleted all of the keys listed in that file: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance (TM)\ and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance Then I deleted the Forged Alliance folder. Hopefully that's good enough.

Does any1 else realize that the AI in the game is all the same. They keep on rushing. When I put the AI to TECH they build tech 1 units and attack endlessly. They don't even build experimental units. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?? Please and Thankyou.

hey GreyDelta ive found the problem i had the same thing happen it is not dx or sound drivers inorder for it to work u must change ur sound card to play 2.0 not 5.0 suround sound i dont know why it happens but it does u can change it by going to ur control panel click on sound find the card u are using press configure and change it this works on vista im not sure xp but it fixed it 100% "i dont even have the lastist drives for my sound card and it works" hope it helped ya

I'm still getting the d3dx9_35.dll error. Except, I've installed (not just extracted) DirectX 9.0, renamed the file correctly, patched it correctly, and everything else people have suggested. There is no logical reason for it to not be working. Anyone got any ideas?

currenty in the process of downloading. it seems that i have a problem. the overview says you have to install it in C:\Games\ or D:\Games or E:\Games. but i dont have enough space in these drives. i installed a new hard drive and use that(the H: drive) for games. what about the registry file then? any help would be appreciated.

gonna beat an old horse here, im getting the no voices error on a few skullptura rips, them being assassins creed & SupCom. I have the skull rips of orochi warriors, ironman & universe at war & the voices on them are fine. ive tried all the fixes people have commented on, lowering the sound acceleration, running as administrator (alwwys logged in as admin) etc, i have the latest sound drivers & DirectX installed, im seriously at a loss here, can anyone help? im not a pc genius but certainly know my way around 1 but im completely stumped here!

Do you have a emulation program like daemon tools ? mount image then click the little thing that says install ? then once it installs.... then in the bin file where it says ForgedAlliance which is the ap to start the game you have to put the crack in its place ? This is just a guess though... I don't feel like redownloading the game to check.....

I have the latest of everything but when the intstall finished it gave me a sound error messige (not the exact words). Even so I tryed the game of course, but it had no sound. Tryed restarting my comp dunno why, hope maybe lol and even read the READ ME! file agin but still no luck sadly. I have the novemeber directX and the 2.0 umm something program plus the winrar 1.71. So I think there is a problem withe the installer!

i think that it is better to get the iso coz then you can get the updates, which improve the performance (which is very much needed for this game), adds new units (which is awesome). correct me if im wrong but you cant do that with rips right?

alright, thanks gizmolio. next problem, patch can't find exe. i followed post 27's directions in moving the forgedalliance.exe, but the patch still can't find the .exe, even after manually telling the patch where the exe is. the one thing is that forged alliance installed on a secondary drive i have (D, so I'm wondering if this matters.

I couldn't get the game to run after extracting and running the setup.bat file process. Tried to run the fixed/no-dvd exe but nothing happened. Use the original exe file in the #readme# folder, go to GCW and get the mini-image, mount with daemon and use YASU. Tested the game and it seems to be running 100% with sound. Hope this helps.

My friend downloaded the torrent so I transferred it my computer by disc but when I do it won't extract on my computer it says the file is unknown or damaged, and when I try copying it to my computer (or moving the file) from the disk an error message comes up when its almost finished saying cannot locate the file on drive.
