how to install this one: --get daemon tools --download with utorrent, bittorrent, whatever --mount with daemon tools. to mount, find the icon in your tray (next to the time), right click, select 'virtual CD/DVD-ROM', pick a device # (whatever number, it doesn't matter, and you can have more than one at once. this basically "puts a CD in your drive" without you actually needing one). After you select your drive #, you select 'mount'. it will then ask you what you want to mount. You need to find the folder where the utorrent/bittorent downloaded it to, and then click on the file with the gold disk. And there, it's mounted. --wait a few moments, and the installation will commence. Follow it normally (language, serial code, blah blah.) NOTE #1: the serial codes are in the notepad file named "Serials" NOTE #2: don't register it. it's not necessary, and if you register it, then no one can install the game using that code after you.

i would like to ask something too..well, i have dowloaded almost all the sims2 stuff(glamour life,kitchen &bath,h&m fashion, open for business even the sims university..)and i can mount none of them. when i try to mount them (with DAEMON) the installation begins, i select the language and after that it sais that "this product requires an installed copy of the sims 2.Please install the sims2 before intalling this product. the same happens with the glamour life.Should i download the sims2,too? I dont really like this game and as i have read from the comments all the sims2 torrents have problems. I don't know what to do.please help me. oh, and i thought that "the university" was a completely different game from the sims2.

Me thinks we should write, or is there already(?), a step by step instruction for general downloading, mounting, installing, and one for Sims 2 specifically as well? We could include it with downloads, seed it like mad (afterall, how big a file could it possibly be???) and give all of our newcomers the answers before they have the questions. Not that everyone here isn't nice at helping them, but if we wrote "and please seed in exchange for this help and game", maybe life would be easier for all concerned? Anyone else think this would help people and maybe lead to more seeds? Mike C.
