Everything works fine but they are about 3 versions of Postal 2 share the pain (useless...) and the version of Apocalypse week-end doesn't work because it doesn't work with a crack and it's not ripped. Otherwise very good if you either want Postal 2 or Postal 2 Share the Pain. (but it's just a repack of many versions from different uploaders, so it's huge but you have the samethings many times...)

Here is how to get "Postal 2: share the pain" to work. 1. get a program like daemon tools (it is actually free, not "free" ;-) 2. after installing daemon tools, set it to at least one drive and set "emulation" to "all options on" 3. "mount" the "Postal 2 -All.iso" file with daemon tools 4. copy the "POSTAL2 STP.iso" file (and the patch as well) in the disk to the desktop or wherever 5. "mount" the "POSTAL2 STP.iso" file 5. (right-click, "open" the disk if it gives an error message) and run the setup. 6. when it finishes installing, run the patch to update it to 1409 6. go to http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ and find the section for postal 2, download "Postal 2 v1.407 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE" (the exe must not have been changed from version 1407 to 1409 because it still works). 7. get a program like winrar to extract the "postal2-STP1407.rar" file you just downloaded. 8. copy the "POSTAL2.EXE" (this is the crack that gets around it asking for a disk) that came out of the .rar file and paste it in the "C:\Program Files\Postal2STP\System" folder, and SAY YES TO THE OVERWRITE. you should be able to start and play the game, I know I was. I am sorry if I insulted anyone's intelligence, I have noticed alot of people around with little experience in using disk images, .rar files, and the concept of "cracking" a game.

you can probably get "Apocalypse Weekend" and the original game to work as they have cracks for Apocalypse Weekend 1.0 and postal 2 with the 1337 patch there as well.

Any1 fix the direct x error? I get it and it seems there are others on every Postal torrent that get it. i as well as them all have 8.1 or better so is it just one of bug that wont fix?

For everyone else who just wants to play the original Running with Scissors and gets the "please insert cd" issue despite mounting the iso or even burning the disc, here's how I got around it... Install the game from this torrent, and apply the 1337 patch. Then get this file: http://gbw.naxpllc.net/dl.php?file=Postal2v1.337NoCDFixedexeUS.rar You'll finded a patched version of Postal2.exe there that will allow the game to finally play. In case the site ever goes away, just google for "postal 2 nocd". That's how I found it.

I opened the iso with alcohol, then I opened the map postal 2 running with siccors! Then I mounted the immige into deamon tools, and it said the CD may be dirty or damaged?? the other things work but what use are the patches without the game itself???????? What must I do?

same as 00Squall04 and some other ppl here above. i mounted postal 2 mdf file on daemon tool but it says the cd may be dirty or damaged. maybe the file is invalid from the first place or maybe the uploader's disc was dirty? i cannot get it working anyway. but thanks for the rest.

Mount the ISO, copy the content to a folder on your harddrive, and than mount the different Postal images from that folder, offcourse starting with Postal 2, before installing Apocalypse Weekend & Share the Pain. Couldn`t find a crack in the ISO, so I updated it to V1.407 and downloaded the back-up CD crack from megagames.

ok, i got the Postal 2 - running with scissors to work. You got to extract the MDF file, for example with PowerISO. then just simply run the setup, it worked for me havent yet installed the expansions.

after i installed this i didnt need a crack to play before i started the game i installed the "postal2patch1337" from "Postal 2 Patchar no cd" folder i havent tried it with the expansions yet

I just finished downloading and i got the same error when I mounted the isos but i could still right click and browse the disk and i installed the game and the expansions my adivse is ignore the auto run and the message and everything will be fine.
