if you can get it to work fine but with no sound without dosbox i suggest you use VDMSound. dosbox isnt the greatest to use on a ****py computer.

OK. I managed to run the game, but I still can't get the sound to work. There are a lot of sound drivers to choose from. I tried them with their default configurations but nothing worked. It's very exhaustive to test all drivers with all possible configurations. Any help!

ok i downloaded dosbox.....i mounted the c drive and went into the directory....found the dark folder (install folder) and opened up its directory which has the darkforces run app in it....now how do i run it?
