Great game, but original version is full of bugs. Game needs to be patched to the latest v1.6 Install the EU patches 1.4, 1.41, 1.5 & 1.6 and play. You don't need the crack with v1.6 Patches 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3 are now obsolete because they are included in 1.4 Thanks for sharing

noobs....alright here's what you gotta do. Right after downloading this you will need to mount two files, the MANUAL and the HEROES with poweriso. After that, you should get a window that pops up with a bunch of files, click on the autorun. After that it will soon ask you to put in a disc that contains the MANUAL. Now remembering where you mount the file ealier go find that and click on it. Next it will ask you for the main/HEROES file. Just click on which drive you mounted it on. After that, it'll be smooth sailing.

I always get a Windows CRC error at 42% of the installation. I am not able to copy the hommV.daa file to HDD because of CRC error. I downloaded the file on Macintosh Mac OSX. Right now I am trying to copy the files once again via Explorer to the HDD. Looks like PowerISO is a nice app. Works really fine.

4. OK, so once you open up that crack folder here in PowerISO, right-click the H5_Game.exe file and click on Extract... it will ask you where you want to extract to, you need to find where you installed your Heroes files (from step 2.) and look for the bin folder. Default location on most computers should be... C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Heroes of Might and Magic V\bin 5. Hit ok to overwrite the file with the Crack. 6. PLAY AND HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!! =) Hope this helps a bit guys. Took me an hour or 2 to get it working perfect. There might be other ways to do it, but since no one else posted, this is what I did. Enjoy, and please.... SEED at least for a day or two... It's an amazing game!

3. After you installed everything, here's where many people (including myself) messed up. I tried to click the icon on my desktop but then it asks me to insert the CD. I tried going Start -> Programs -> Unisoft and do it that way too.. but again.. there's that message that comes up prompting to insert the correct CD. The person who created this torrent for us made our day, because he included a CRACK .exe that should replace another file! To locate where the crack is... all you have to do is double-click the Heroes.of.Might.and.Magic.V.daa and you should see this: Autorun Crack DirectX Extras Manual ... then a bunch of files... what we want, is the CRACK FOLDER!!! Mmmmm... crack...

I installed the game as mentioned, got through the whole story line in the beginning, made my profile, and then: crash! Is somebody experiencing the same or is it just my laptop?? My system is at the lowest of requirements: 1,5 Gh - 512mb Can anybody with the same req's play the game??

Installed fine for me, on the second mission bout the be the third (after i capture the town thats against the king) Will update if problems happen, though im doubting they will. if you do have problems make sure all yer drives are updated and that your components are supported for this game.

does anyone get the problem when you've installed the game and everything....cracked it and its set to go...but when u start the game...or click on the game icon...it loads....but the game doesn't start.....i had this problem with my other computer....i had to click it multiple times inorder to get it to work...but for this laptop...it doesn't work...i got everything up and going but the game just won't load...any advices? Okay after a few days of research I found a way to solve all the problems you guys encounter including the notorious game crash and "send don't send" popup...follow these steps and game will work. 1. Mount as usual 2. Make sure to install direct X 3. Do NOT..repeat NOT...use the crack included. 4. Go to ********************nt.com/Heroes+of+Might+and+Magic+V+v11+European+Patch/;5116685;/fileinfo.html and download the patch v1.1 (somehow the European version works fine) 5. After you patch it to v1.1 go to http://www.megagames.com/cgi/download/download.cgi?action=search&category=cracks&search=HEROES.OF.MIGHT.AND.MAGIC.5.V1.1.ENG.RUS.BAZIK.NOCD.ZIP to download the crack for v1.1 rus/eng ***make sure you replace the exe file in the BIN folder*** (don't worry the language is still english).

Fellas! I downloaded the torrent, cracked, and installed, but the same thing is happening to me than to messenger 13th and 18th. I watched the intro, and it's really cool, than set up my profile, wanna start a campaign or a custom stuff, and than BOOMMM!!! The game shuts down, the display goes blank, than an error message comes up like "Heroes of Might and Magic V has stopped working" ... Phalanxia, Power iso, daemon tools is kind of like a virtual cd drive. When a image file 'mounts' that means you can access the content on your pc so that you can either install or view the contents as if it was an actual disk. Basically someone converts whatever is on a dc into an image file (iso, .daa) and we use virtual drives (power iso, daemon tools) to open that file as if the image is a disk to install the content on our computers. It's like installing things without a disk basically.

BIOHAZZARD, Thank you ever so much. The installation went smoothly BUT I have a problem. Okay so I type my player name in and I went to campaign and you know but soon as I clicked and it was loading on the mission part the game crashes. MAN! help please. DreamEz, It didn't work for me also but I know another place to install it. Go to 'my computer' and find the drive that you mount homm. Click on it and it should have everything there. Go to setup and boom you can install it.

probaly is because u didnt opened the image whith daemon tools or alcohol 120% or even PowerISO after that simulate a drive whith these programs and then open the file to stay inside the virtual drive.... i didnt downloaded the game yet...but... i will start now =]
