I'm having a lot of trouble with mine working. Here are the steps I've taken and I still get the insert CD error. Help please! 1. I run Daemon tools and selected the .mds image from my hard drive. I also have an .mdf image, so I'm not sure which one to use? 2. I installed the game using the Dragonshard.msi file on the "virtual disk" 2. I then ran Anti-Blaxx and right clicked on the disc icon and chose the following settings: A. For Daemon Tools, I pointed to the Daemon Tools.exe file on my hard drive. B. For Game - I pointed to my hard drive and selected the dragonshard.exe file that was installed. C. When I did that, it said no protection was found. D. I clicked on "mount image" and under the "Image", I selected the .mds file. E. I then clicked on the desktop icon that had been put there to run the game and it keeps asking me for the CD....

I was able to install it by running SafeDisk4 Hider 1.0 during the install process. (Maybe VirtualCDHide will work too.) I think the installer checks for Alcohol 120% before it lets you install. I can't get the patch to work, though, it says that the right version is not installed.

I'm trying to install it also, and I'm having problems. im using alcohol 120 and it's still telling me "cd/dvd emulation software has been detected. please disable all cd/dvd emulation software and restart the game" I have tried the SD4 1.0, 1.1, I've used the program that it gives me, virtual cd hide 1.004 and I still can't get it to work. anyways have ideas or ..know what's going on? or know how to fix this?

hey guys i managed to install it just mount it with daemon tools or alcohol, the open the disc and install it with dragonshard.msi but i cant get the game running or the patch to work

No need for any of that I got it. 1. Right-click and explore the image file. 2. click the file that says dragonshard (with Windows installer package) 3. Once installed go to daemon tools and turn on all the options. 4. When the autorun comes up then click update. Downloading a Patch does nothing. 5. Then have fun. You can unmount it now.

I finally got it to work! No need for Virtual CD Hide or blablabla This post is all u need. 1-Mount with Daemon Tools. 2-Don't install it with the .exe file. 3-Install it with Dragonshard.msi file in the CD. 4-Use this Serial RLD2-RPMG-V5MV-NMEP 5-When Installation is Done, browse the CD. 6-Run Autoplay, Choose 'Update Dragonshard' it will download the patch. 7-It will not patch it until u download the file below. Download the BackUp CD From the link below www.megagames.com/cgi/download/download.cgi?action=search&category=cracks&search=DUNGEON.AND.DRAGONS.D.V1.1.4.SUBTILE.BACKUPCD.ZIP Unzip it. Copy 'only' i repeat 'only' the file 'BattleGearParameters.LQR' from the folder that u just unzipped and paste it in the folder 'Dragonshard\Database' to overwrite it. Now Patch it. 8-Run it and Enjoy

ok finally got it to run : mount game with daemon tools quit game from autolaunch and explore u dragonshard volume and install game with dragonshard.msi for me patch didnt work so i dont install it run anti-blaxx, setup all it ask then launch game from there enjoy )

This torrent is messed up :/ I mount it in Deamon Tools,the menu pops up and I choose the "Install" option.Then DT gives me the message "Wrong CD.Insert the good one and restart the application".Like WTF?Can anobyd tell me how to use Alcohol 120%?I mounted the image(i think i did) and what next?

1. Mount the image, 2. Run Dragonshard.msi to install the game with a serial (i used 8XGU-7A4U-6B6R-M9VS) 3. Run Autoplay.exe and Update the game (You wont need any updates or the virtual cd hide thingy in this torrent if you follow these 3 steps) 4. Run Dragonshard.exe (or the shortcut if you made on your desktop, or run Autoplay.exe and there launch the game) Good luck.

The latest patch for this release is : dragonshard_1.1.24b_uk.exe , not the one included in the file.

i managed to run the game flawlessly, i didnt download those other necessary files (anti-blaxx) steps is so simple. -install the game manually just like the other comments above mentioned -after installation is complete, NEVER apply any patch yet -run the autorun file, there you will see the game is really installed because the Play game option is highlited already -then click on the check for updates option ( or something like check for latest patch)i think its a link from gamespy. -be sure you're connected online, after update is complete and patch is applied, voila! you can play the game now even without the image file mounted! Hope this helps guys... Enjoy!!!
