I have vista home premium and it works just perfectly. don't ask how I made it worked, I just installed all the exe-s ( about 3 if I remember ), I have no idea which does what. oh yes, a cd serial for the online game would come in handy. cool program, thx a lot

I'm trying to run this on WIN2k I've been doing research and there are lots of games that "Claim" to be incompatiable with Win2k and only for xp/vista because microsoft is a huge ***** and trying to forge people to upgrade anyway they can, even when not necessary -- but they really are compatiable if you adjust one thing or the other... I was wondering if anyone knew a way to let chessmaster GM run on win2k I basically get an entry point error for iswow64... since win2k doesn't have that in it's kernel32.dll I've been looking into getting a different dll or an xp api wrapper that works but I have no clue how to work them... anyone skilled in such things?

If you have problems running it in Vista try running it as an administrator, or run it in win xp compatability mode. You can get these options by right clicking the .exe.

umm this is an image file, so you need a program such as poweriso or DAEMON TOOLS PRO to mount and it becomses a virtual drive... should read help files in iso program anyway and it should guide you through. Best of luck!! blondaussichick

please help I downloaded the file n opened it using winrar extracting all files.Now i ran autorun n install.It copies files but stop displaying message that: Error.1330.A file that is equired cannot be installed because the cabinet file C:\Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition En\Game.cab has an invalid digital signature.This may indiacte that cabinet file is corrupt.Error 270 was returned by WinVerifyTrust. please help anyone as early as possible..i ll be greatly thankful.Is the whole of my download gone waste or there s a way out.please help....

Hey Flickr! I hope this is not too late to answer your question yet. I do not have this game, and I am not too sure if you have downloaded any program off torrent before. So, just in case, I'll give you a quick run down of what's gong on. the .iso extension is a image file, meaning that it's pretty much contain everything on a DVD (with occasional exceptions). What you want to do is to install a program that helps you mount cd images. Personally, I use Daemon Tools (free). After installation, open up Daemon tool and mount the iso file as a CD image. Your computer will recognize the iso file as a physical DVD in your computer's optical drive. Then, just click on setup and you should be able to install and run the game without a problem. Hope it helps, and be sure to let me know whether it works. I'll check back in a few days :-)

hey man..thanks for ur time..but all i was doing was simply extracting the files by winrar not to any specified location so it was going to temp.now all i did was extract that file to 1 of my folders and then ran the setup it worked good and m able to play game now..just 1 question should i use the auto patch for this game or not?..and ya no need of daemon even nero can write this iso file on dvd for you..but why to waste time on writing dvd ..all of you really useful tip:open the file using winrar which is free of course extract all files to a specific folder run setup from there and you are done..
