As far as I know, the files are meant to be placed in the "\bios" folder in your emulators directory.

though I got things running it was barely playable. gonna try dance dance revolution supa nova soon, but i dont think it'll do much better. better to use the memory card exploit to run ur games off a third party hdd.(don't ask, google it)

After some fiddling, I eventually got an .iso of mushihimesama to boot using the "Linuzappz Iso CDVD 0.6.0" plugin as my cdvd plugin. Clicked on "configure" and browsed to the .iso. Hit "ok", "ok" then went to "run" and "excecute". BTW im using "pcsx2 0.9.4" get from www.pcsx2.net

check the details page, it contains 2 bin files. the name of the 1st one contains PAL, in roms and bios files that always means it's a PAL version.
