i downloaded this as well and had a problem with windows media player and media player classic with audio. It plays well but the audio doesnt match the video, its seconds ahead. How can I fix this?

@ osz71 thats cos ur pc is too slow, try setting overlay output in MPC and dont change the ratio with DirectVobSub. ffdshow is a decent free h.264 decoder, but u might wanna try CoreAVC, not free but hey whats this site for? :)

I'm just tired of everyone blaming the uploader for ****py files and not actually knowing what they're talking about or even learning about the files. Plus, I've been seeing them for a couple years now, so they're not exactly new. It'll probably make it further than avi as it's not as limited and the only reason avi even made it was because Microsoft created it.

I have to agree with hotfissure. To people that care about quality mkv is the obvious choice. But you have to remember that a lot of people that rely on eztv aren't great with computers so changing format is going to cause some problems for them. Me personally, when it comes to TV shows avi is fine for me (yes, I have everything to play mkv) THANK YOU UPLOADER! either way these guys are letting us watch our favorite shows

3) For clarity, it would be best if uploaders could and would use the 2 most mainstream file formats: MPEG and AVI. It makes things easier for the downloaders and minimizes the amount of time that regular Mininova users, like myself, have to spend helping toubleshoot problems posted in the comments section. Thanks for the upload and continuing to post these torrents here at Mininova! Please don't take any of my criticisms as me being ungrateful. These are merely suggestions to help ease the experience for the end-user.

1) EZTV is not a person. It is a site where numerous individuals post torrents of various TV shows, much like Mininova and it's predecessor, Supernova. (not the current Supernova.org, which is a shadow of its former self) 2) Most MKV files can be viewed with VLC. (www.videolan.org/vlc/) VLC is open source and is available for XP, Vista, Mac and Linux. However, some MKV files use Real Player compression, and VLC cannot play these files. Real Player is a proprietary codec and may not be distributed or used freely and is therefore unable to be used in VLC.

Why don't you get off your lazy ass and download the combined community codec pack, and realize that you'll be able to play most everything with whatever player you want. Maybe then, you'll see the quality difference between EZTV's avi and mkv uploads. By the way, you won't get x264 quality from an avi. mkv files however can do lossless quality, for both video and audio, making it a much better format for people who actually care about quality.

well even though i have CCCP and can play mvk therefore, the sound is faster then the video. i gotta agree i do prefer avi and quali is just fine. just because there is a new format every week you dont need to get all cranky if not everyone goes crazy for it. lets see if it makes it. so far, i am not happy. and for some reason i dont want to have a dozen players...
