Here as promised is the next in the series, the final volume will be posted in due course. I am happy as well that other Divx offerings Ive Ive placed into the bittorrent world of important material with limited access (for example Maigret hasn't been seen on most store shelves for years - with little regard to fans of this great series) are doing gangbusters. My release of Kadosh continues to wane however. i hope there is more interest in seeding this important movie soon as like the great British movies I've put up here and elsewhere simultaneously (in Divx) format it has much potential to teach. Im most thrilled at the success of Sense and Sensibility, a movie Ive done my best to promote by making consistent donations to libraries in Canada. The divx conversion I made has as of today's date reached approximately 2000 copies completed, I'm very pleased to say!

I expect we will have the final segment (volume 4) beginning tonight or perhaps tomorrow depending on how seeding is going overall on the series altogether. You should be aware that although the total file size for Volume 4 is consistent with the remainder of the series, it will be offered as separate files for each episode. This will allow it to compete as an offering for those who want to try an episode or even two before committing to a download of the entire program series. By the way you will find these DivX versions are set to an efficient video bit rate that are almost half the size of previously offered (or even currently perhaps) renditions elsewhere, yet the quality is noticeably better in that it doesn't waste download time and consume added bandwidth and the viewing just as good - so is the sound certainly!

I have to apologize folks. we seeded 35 megs of the first episode of volume 4 (mainly to Estonia and Sweden initially) before discovering an error that crept in to the conversion settings. We will re-locate an original disc and re-post here as soon as possible for you. so sorry!

Hi again folks, I just want to give you my word that you will have volume four in a single avi divx file just as quickly as can be achieved. There was none in any retail stores locally in this town of 3.5 million people when we checked, and it appears that Columbia house, like most video stores has stopped listing it altogether. I therefore have no alternative but to purchase another copy from ebay (thats where the previous copy came from which I donated to the montreal library at westmount) and convert and post the remaining volume the moment it arrives in the mail. While I do have the volume on my system here, it has two problems - its missing the adito track, and it has a pesky flash screen attached to it Im trying to edit out although its stubbornly attached to the main program for eight seconds at the beginning. I had thought of just grabbing the episodes being offered in xvid by others on the net and converting them to divx to fix the problem with offering volume four. i found that these xvid versions in particular do not convert to divx and neither the 6.2.1 divx converter form divx.com nor Nero 7.8 would accept them as valid video file formats. I tried stripping the audio tracks to make use of, initially from the two that I did get this way very slowly in one case and rapidly in the other, only to find that synchronization takes time to perfect so that it doesn't appear like a dubbed offering you have cooked up. the xvid versions have a higher bit rate than my divx versions however they are almost twice the size, and without noticable competence in picture quality over what Im making widely available instead. Divx is the way to go, so that every player can play it - every time (and its quicker to download cause its more efficiently made and therefore the industry standard by the way too)! Im halfway through trying to download an xvid maigret and the hotel majestic to use the audio track on my divx video however the seeders remain elusive on me. By the way Xilisoft ultra did convert the xvid video however it was flawed output on the screen that was the result. I say only offer competent divx compatibility so no one is stuck with a waste of their disc player equipment. The full fawlty towers series will appear here in three avi files here shortly too. They are just converting at this moment to a very efficient full screen divx formatted offering that io hope will be the new standard for internet downloads of this show. Yes Minister will follow. Hi Im am advised of more than one location than can ship a new set of discs to us even overnight. The expense is not a concern if we really have to resort to getting this shipped in. we will give it a week of efforts to obtain the item locally, if not, that will be the latest we will order the disc for volume four along with the complete series and we will then donate it to the local library as they do not have the sense to stock this item in stead of much poorer choices indeed! I do have the three parts of the missing disc (volume four however I have to put together the aduio tracks with the video - only if the results are perfect will they be offered as separate episodes perhaps) as for the single file for volume four, that will have to come only from an original disc as we really want complete perfection in what we distribute to people who rely on conscientious results if they are to have faith in our work. Hi again, I'm happy to inform you that despite the fact that this series is now no longer in catalogs for sale in stores etc (discontinued i would gather) I was able to locate a set of discs locally today from a video rental store far away from my office. Volume four is now undergoing a fresh conversion and will be available for upload I would guess in a few hours time. We will be dedicating maximum seeding time to help complete this series with this final volume, so all can enjoy, forever more! thank you for your patience. Volume four will be 720 X 480 resolution as we used divX author and accepted the default resolution format for this volume as presented.
