Thanks brother! Stage 20 53km ITT (32.9mi). The course presents short hills and rolling roads, the biggest obstacle will be the distance. Although, the final TT in 2006 and 2007 were longer, this remains a tough hour ride. Will Evans #1, Silence-Lotto, muster the goods to gain the title or, will he grab the mantle of "seconds_man," finishing second again? Evans has beaten Sastre, CSC #11, in all previous TT contests but one. Cadel needs 1:35 on Carlos to take top tier on the GC podium. Moreover, Kohl (KOM #115 Gerolsteiner) occupies 3rd in GC, 1:33 down, a capable TT who can keep a podium spot. Gerolsteiner's Schumacher #111, Rocked the Clock during Stage 4 ITT. Evans 4th 0:27 down. Sastre 28th, 1: 43 slower. Kohl lagged at 31st 1:47 in arrears. While Frank Schleck #17 CSC, a distant 46th 2:14 behind. However, stage 4 ITT was half this length.

Stage 21 by tradition is rarely contested, unless there is a separation of a few seconds. Only 3 Champs Elysees escapes finished successfully, the rest have ended in sprints. Still, there's no rule that prevents one of the top 6 GC riders to try a getaway. Therefore, this time trial stage will most likely set the maillot jaune winner, with the caveat of mechanical problems, crashes and other such unforeseeable occurrences on the final day. Again I'd like to gratefully give thanks to gpateire for being a consistent facilitator, of the 95th edition, 2008 Tour De France. Even though, some of us may already know the results it's always a treat to watch a major part of each stage and have the choice of archiving our favorite memories of the greatest road race in the universe. While many were able to shut out the world and try to use your uploads of the contest as a current event. I'd also like to thank all of you that participated in this communal undertaking. Hecklers, Internet users with "Napoleonic Complex," and other such folk with good intentions but minimal communication skills - cheers to you all. It wouldn't have been the same without your input - two cents.

Thank you so much for doing this. I know it was a lot of work, especially as you're on the West Coast and had to deal with the stages in the Alps airing at 3:30 in the morning. All I can say is thanks for all your efforts. Hopefully you'll be up to doing this again next year for the people who don't have access to Versus or the Tour wherever they are.
