God created man (both male and female) in His image and likeness. He also gave them the greatest gift (or curse dependent upon your life) of free will and they could do whatever they wanted. Adam committed the sin of high treason when God granted him ownership (dominion) over all the creatures on the planet, and he handed the deed of the planet to satan, and satan enslaved the world in sin. But God also had a back up plan and His name was (is) Jesus. And Christ isn't His last name, He is THE Christ, the anointed one. So God even knew that the man He created could mess it up and had plan B. Keep postin' KMB

Since nobody seems to know the the holy scriptures are for the spiritual and of course they seem like foolishness to the unbeliever because the scriptures are The LORD GOD's own words so we won't have to live in the sin we created for ourselves: 1./ LORD GOD creates perfect world 2./ Man disobeys The LORD GOD sin enters world 3./ LORD GOD sends profits and the LAW 4./ GOD come to earth in the form of JESUS CHRIST 5./ LORD JESUS lives perfect life (NO SIN) dies blameless 6./ Rises on third day 7./ Goes back to heaven friends The LORD GOD Loves us, havs mercy on us, we are living in his perfect grace and we can either choose him or not it's your life or lack of life. Ask him into you heart and be saved. Amen

LOL All the Christian-bashing comments were deleted. There must be some really nice people on mininova.org! Ironic...because of those comments, I'm going to download and study this book provided of course that it's in good print and the arguments are well-composed. I hope I'm not violating any copyrights...but I really wish to equip myself with the word! Oh, and kudos JMD4Ever.

I do not know much about the Bible but did God not create man like Himself? So if there are contradictions in the Bible it should not be a surprise.

Pamphian - lots of versions is good! It shows how many people want it in their own language. The important thing is to remember that the original language of the old testament was Hebrew (a small part is in Aramaic) and the new testament was in Greek. If you know more than 1 language - I know 3 - you can understand that translating expressions and things based on a particular culture and context take brainpower and...sometimes "different versions" to try to transmit the entire thought in the original text. I read different translations to try to get a full understanding. Pretty amazing that the Bible after 2000+ years is still the number 1 book sold and read each year. The New York Times bestsellers list doesn't even bother listing it anymore

There are 216 versions of the BIBLE. Which one is the correct one? I don't think a Patriotic American would choose the King James version. Maybe we should do like John Milton and learn Hebrew. Don't you think?
