Wait for the FULL ceremony in GOOD quality. Or just record it yourself if your TV networks replay it like they do here in Australia, it was live then repeated in the morning for those who couldn't stay up for it.

It's not the best of quality but it is watchable. I'm really tired of all the media censorship, and copyright ****.. everyone only trying to make *****. I woke up late and missed the opening ceremony, went to ******* to see it and got this msg: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by a third party. " :S Thanks again for the upload. Good Job China Beautifully Well Done Ceremony.

I was quite impressed and do congratulate all Chinese for these great games - Though it was in my opinion a good thing that my chancellor Angela Merkel was not there. Since 1936 we should stay apart when sport is used for propaganda. Nevertheless the games could open more doors on each side.

@Paul1983aa He's probably just listening to the biased American broadcasts... I don't even know why he posted on here... he searched for these torrents and post to insult the opening ceremony? It just showed us a bit of the Chinese history and culture, nothing wrong with that. IMO the opening ceremony was magical, really pretty and original... have never seen something like it. Going to dl this torrent.. hope it's good quality

Come on! Please, someone please produce a high quality and full version for the whole world! A standard high quality 43 minutes HDTV program only takes 350 MB. The complete ceremony, from what I heard, is about 270 minutes. Therefore, a high quality version of the show will only take about 2.15 GB. Come on, Come on, guys!

Quality is garbage, nowhere near say a scene rip of 350mb for a 1-hour show. There is a 1gb file out there that seems to have been the original source, that actually looks like a 1gb video should.

A much better and complete version of this broadcast is available on a.b.boneless. It's a high quality divx by PIX. 2.1 gig. Sorry, I don't have time to upload it myself. While not HD, the full version on usenet is the best broadcast I've seen. The hosts don't talk to much and a quiet when they do. Also, no commercials so unedited. Of the 4 broadcasts I've seen, it's the Aussies who got it right. Go figure. If someone were to snag it from usenet and make a torrent, you'd be doing everybody a favor.

Snarry, very well put. As a Chinese American, I feel for you. The media is constantly casting a veil over China's true colors, especially on the Tibet/Taiwan issues. And this is happening in many countries. But hey, the Olympics is a a time of international peace and appreciation for all of humanity, so lets just cast all differences and criticism away and enjoy.
