i just watched 11, 12 & 13 of mrmessy and they are missing some audio... 12 & 13 are better, but 11 is kind of crap with no soundtrack, no phone conversations and all 3 have different narrator...a couple of scenes are total silence... you still get the gist of what's going on but given it'll be on tv in the next 3 weeks it's probably worth the wait...

it may have timelock, big deal, but it also has sound effects, narration, and soundtrack... so if a bit of a clock bothers you you can always wait 3 weeks for it to finish on tv if you like. Mine's at 90% and i just watched some bits of it... it's gooood.

On episode 11 there is audio only in the left speaker, not the right, it's 4:3 and there is a ticker, just like the previous release which was missing music, dialog and narration.

No need to worry about this garbage any longer. The full "Special Uncut, too hot for Tv, DVD set will be released the day after the series finishes, May 8th I believe. So I'm sure it wont be long after we see decent copies up here.

After watching the underbelly series I was told that the Carlton crew used to get Chopper Reed to do some of they're hits. Dunno if there is any truth in that. So anyway I go and hire chopper, it was very well acted but there didn't seem to be any tie in with the Carlton crew, actually most of the movie seemed to be about his time in prison and the release of his book. Its everything else in his life I would like to have seen portrayed. The truth might have been too much ... or too little :s. Oh well at least we all know now crime doesn't pay lol.

btw I made a wmv ep 11 I captured of the tv tonight, its pretty good quality ... would anyone bother with it if I uploaded it? Prolly best to wait for the dvd rips that will be around after may 8 imo.
