so another few points from me: if you do what said in .nfo it works perfectly ive yust confirmed it :p good game few other things, so nobody has to moan (moaners) 1) game is in russian, no way to play it in english 2) the game works, yust do what the .nfo tells you to do 3) god damn i love this game

I'm having problems with this game... first of all i installed followed the instructions and appeared a msg saying about a cd... Exit, Retry, then i tried a lot of cracks... but any of them worked for me... always appears the same message: Retry, Exit,... Game is very good but need lots of fixes and patches. Great AI and action. Opponent throwing grenades, hiding, covering, looking around and searching for you etc.. Best AI and combat I have seen in all games. Great atmosphere, music,sounds.

I try the english translations but they are terrible. They've supposedly just been run through an on-line translator and aren't that good. Haven't tried them yet so i wouldn't know.

Hi, I followed the differents steps mentioned in the video and the .nfo and still don't work 4 me. Every time I install correctly it and try it, I've a "put the right disc in" message to install the drivers before playing (i think). Can anyone help me? anyone checking TPB can see that this is that version and then resaved as an .iso with magiciso or some other program, making it 2.4GB instead of over 4GB, so this guy did a good thing. That said without his detailed installation notes it's almost impossible to install unless you read Russian, and thank the lord that isn't a common thing here in the West! PS. if you want this MUCH faster go to TPB and just get the 4GB version with like 30 seeds instead of this one that has maybe 1-2 seeds. It'll be an .mds/.mdf and you can just mount it with DT or resave it as an ISO with magiciso.

@viscosity - 2 7) Create a backup from the <GameDir>\BIN\PROTECT.DLL 8) Replace the original <GameDir>\BIN\PROTECT.DLL with the one from the second download 9) Start the game, and install the driver (Protection check) -> this will result in an error message 10) Unmount the mini-iso 11) Replace the fixed <GameDir>\BIN\PROTECT.DLL with the backup file created at step 7 12) Play the game Optional : If the game stil don't run copy the filefrom the torrent (fsgame.ltx) in <GameDir> Those steps had work for me ! I managed to install everything as the how-to said to do, bypassed the copy protection but the driver install failed me still... I installed the crackfix and it still said unable to install... so I installed it with the protect.exe separately not from startup and it worked (at least seemed that way) but then the stalker game engine popped up a window saying that it had an error and stopped running, and I got the standard windows error report window. Stalker SOC worked perfectly with the same config... ***? any tips?

English version is not coming out till mid-September. This one works just fine if you just follow his installation notes and get the crack he uploaded, the 1.5.3 update patch and the english translation. If you played the first one you'll remember most of the AI talking was in another language anyways and you can get the gist of it from the english subs, who cares about the sound, it's more accurate and you should remember how to interact from the first one. That said it would have been nice to get the ISO saved with all the various files and a detailed installation note all saved in one, I did this with mine using PowerISO which is of course available here. At the end of the traditional installation it will ask for an SN, just ignore it and apply the crack and the english translation if needed and THEN dismount the disc and close the SN window, you're DONE, start game from icon on desktop.

Well, I got it all installed. I did it exact. I got the fsgame.ltx error. So, of course, as instructed, I attempted to launch from desktop. Still got it. I launched it from start, still got an error. I tried everything imaginable (I'm not new to computers or torrents), no dice. I made a copy of the fsgame file into the main directory and it stopped giving me that error. Now it just says, "cannot find file c:\programfiles\gsc world\.......bin\gamedata\configs\system.ltx" ??

Apparently a bunch of the inventory/config game data is in that file and stored there. My folder is empty in bin/gamedata/configs, aside from text/RUS folder.

Their is starforce but its not that hard to crack it... and it doenst seem to run in the background at all during or after the game. As for cracking... i had a problem twice, its because i did too many steps i tried to do everything right that i over did things (im not sure what right now) but after uninstalling and reinstallng and just following the steps exactly i was able to get it. @ 92 yeah, you probably have the same problem I had. For me i just fogot to rename all the existing files by another extension (ex: security.dll --> securitu.dll.bck (back up!) So you keep the original files and then put the crack at the right place without delete original one) Hope it'll work and sorry to answer late. good luck!

Anybody know were to find a trainer for this version thats free? Im at the late stages of the game and i want to be able to afford **** wethout having to sell artifacts. THere is one at cheathappends but you have to pay to get all options, they only offer infinite stamina for free. It works, but I dont need it.

Stalker CS is very good game, but lots of bugs and crashes destroying all pleasure from playing it. Sometimes games crashes every 5, 10 or 15 minutes and you have to again run game and load save game and it takes very long time. This is horrible. I played Stalker SoC and you could finish that game without any patch and haven't experience any crash. There were bugs of course but not so many like here in Stalker CS. So many bugs and crashes that this is unbelivable.

Why does the torrent keep getting smaller and smaller? At first it was about 4GBs, then it shrank to half that, and now it's at 1.3GB. Weird.

Hey, umm im getting the same error as Raymond now, "cannot find file c:\program files(x86)\gsc world\.......bin\gamedata\configs\system.ltx" as u can tell from my program files, im running Win XP64, i cant seem to get rid of this error, no matter how much i reinstall the game or crack or anything, it jst keeps poping up. Next step is to speak to Sidorovich, but when I go to the guide to take me to Kordon in South Hutor, I talk with him, he agrees to take me, I say yes and then nothing happens. As a result i cant get to Kordon. I can get though the other guides to the base to other places within the swamps map, but cant get to Kordon through the guide in south hutor. If I try to go by myself, the game says you need the guide for that. Please help what to do?

When a look at the install video, i see that your daemon tools icon var green, mine was red. Well, I found my first "real" bug while playing the game today. When you get to the part of the game where you have to go to Cordon, the game crashes to windows. It will load and everything... Then BLOOP! right back to the desktop... Hoping they can get this fixed with the lastest patch...

Well I already beat the game, got the full real english translation when I was already at the hospital. Game only crashed twice on me, and never ****** me off since i always had a back up save. ALWAYS SAVE. I cant wait for a free trainer though. The ***** issue is ****py at times and I beat the game after dyng thousands of times and re playing battles over and over and over again. I had no meds or bandages at the hospital/outside power plant. Imagine that..\ Ran it with everything max with no lag or anything.

Finally it works for me but i had to reinstall the game and play without the patch. I played several hours but now it's impossible to install the patch.. So i reinstalled the game for the third time with the patch this time. Like the first time i can run the game and have the menu, but then it crashes when i want to start a game. After 5-6 install & uninstall, it worked! Always said: read it carefully and it will work.. it's true. I always forgot about the mini image, it MUST be mounted when it's required, not enough just copy the .dll from the directories!! Sooo really do it carefully, exactly the same what is the nfo says. Maybe it doesnt work for vista .. i tried launching without patching also i just copied the protect.dll ..it requires the dvd every god damn time .. if i copy the 1.18dll i get an error ..xrEngine stopped working properly.. @ n3uro; That is a "1.5.04" right!? Not "1.5.4"! Well "1.5.04" doesn't make Clear sky fast and playable either. And it is still buggy as hell. You get stuck everywhere. Like I did in post 203. Sometimes it can be solved by loading an older savegame, sometimes not. It crashes frequently after loading new levels (changing locations). Game is still totally unoptimized. It is much slower than SOC, and doesn't look so much better. The only (very) good thing in this game are weapons. Physics is great and realistic. They sound and look great and it is hell of a fun to upgrade them and use them. That is the only fun actually.

I don't use trainers because I rule But I notice that there are pages on the net which tell you how to tweak things in the game. You can change how long it takes for things to respawn etc. So there might be things like that you can do to make the game easier.

if you get an error you just need to try again with a different crack. I had to piece it together myself, but you can find all the patches and all the cracks online. Install the game Use the 1.5.03 patch (not sure if this was necessary but I did it) Use the 1.5.04 patch Use the 1.5.04 crack play If it doesn't work then you have to try again with a different crack.

For those who are having the "insert the ??????????.?????? disc" Follow these steps: -Install the game. - Meanwhile, download the fixed crack you can find among these coments. -From the fixed crack, mount the miniimage "stalker_cs.iso" -Then from the directory cracked_protect.dll, replace protect.dll in to your /stalker/bin directory. And that's it, it worked fine for me, i'm using vista x32 and everything's fine now. I haven't tried to install any patch yet, so i don't know if it will work.

i do this and the game works good 1. Mount or burn iso file 2. Start setup.exe and continue with installation (text is in azbuka, but it´s easy to estimate what that mean) - at the end of installation, dont write any informations about you includes serial - nothing and dont start the game yet. 3. Now unpack archive "crack.rar" into your S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Clear Sky directory - archive doesn not contain passwords - and confirm rewriting. Before point 3, you will may off course backup files that files! 4. Now apply patch (patch 1.5.3 .exe) 5. Unmnout image or take out your clear sky dvd ! 6. Start the game, if you will be asked to install some kind of driver so confirm it and you can play 7. Sometimes game tells you about missing fsgame.ltx, thats not problem just play game from your start menu or desktop.

Somebody on another forum had that same problem and they fixed it like this: i patched 1001 which came with the files. then looked online for worldwide patch 1003 (us only patch wouldnt work, has to be worldwide patch) and patched to 1003, then overwrite bin exe with crack and now it starts up and all. looks like its working so that must be the only way. just patching 1001 isnt enuff for w/e reason, but once u patch 1001 and then patch with 1003 and overwrite the exe, it works

Didn't seem to work for me. I did exactly what you did (Russian version, patch to 1.5.03, then 1.5.04, then crack with Trivium crack). When I run it it says, "This application has failed to start because xrAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." Weird thing is, xrAPI.dll is in the right folder. digo, Once you applied the newer patch, the older saved games cannot be used. I don't think there is anything can be done unless you re-install and use only the earlier patch where your games are saved.....I know this s.u_c.k big time

I downloaded the english one and put the 15.3 patch played it but sometimes when i load it it crashes and so does the quick save.I downloaded this after unstalling the other one exept for the saved games and crashing sometimes happens but not most of they time (X-Ray keeps saying its a bug and i cant send it,plus it says its in xcore)im afraid to put the 15.4 patch because i heard the saved games wont work and ill lose my progress.What should i do?
