Great picture quality, thanks. Just a shame it's split into two halves. I'm trying to combine the two halves without re-encoding. Just tried AVI-Mux GUI, but it fucks up the subs. Dang. Why do people still split movies into CDR-sized chunks? Has no one heard of DVDR?

Well, I managed to use AVI-Mux GUI to merge the files but de-selected subs (so it joined without the subs) then I got the srt subs from another site (which I had to join with Subtitle Workshop and delay the timings on part 2 by 12 seconds). Just a suggestion for those that, like me, dislike having to watch movies in two parts. :)

when playing this in vlc my video always freezes when a lot of movement is on the screen. well not even a lot it's more like if someones running or 3 people are talking. making it almost impossible to watch. anyone else have this problem? and if you want good subs http://subscene.com/english/castle-in-the-sky/subtitle-157786.aspx

I really DON'T recommend VLC. Try Media Player Classic with CCCP instead. Search CCCP in Google

It's not corrupted, frames are missing but it's ok to watch... Use vlc.

Quality of rip seems good but the video played up after first 30secs when I tried to watch it so I ditched it. Future downloaders may have better luck. Thanks anyway!

To HyperLSF: Try to use VLC player. It is capable of switching from 1 audio to another and same for subtitles... CHEERS
