it works fine. here are the steps for this game 1. extract 2. run setup 3. move crack from the extracted file to the file in "my computer" 4. there ya go if you dont move the crack, you will only get to play the demo version. yea its weird but haha its legit!

I'VE FIGURED IT OUT. after a LONG time trying to figure out this problem with being unable to switch cities/restaurants, i've finally found the solution. I dled this torrent and installed restaurant empire. THEN i went to megagames (http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c908660_0.htm) to dl the italian crack. the game still runs in English. and woohoo it works!! i can switch cities and restaurants and everything EASILY. the only problem was i couldn't play my old save files anymore, so i had to start all over, but it works!! hope this helps!

Thank you for the game. However, I can't download the Italian crack that yk_lady mention. Nothing ever happened after I tried clicking the "click here to start your download". Has any of you able to download the crack from MegaGames?

To halfassbored: Try a different mirror or server on the downloads thing. They should initially give you two or three links that lead to more links that lead to the "click here to..." That should do it for ya. I downloaded the torrent off TPB, but I think this is the same one as the zip is the same size/format and whatnot. I did everything correct (as far as I know) and whatnot, but on scenario 5 (first time with second restuarant), my game keeps crashing soon after 1:00pm the first day. I'm not sure what's up. Any ideas? Should I just do the Italian patch thing? P.S. Does anyone know how to delete a duplicated recipe? Things tend to get cluttered when I play...

So what's the update guys??.. I already tried everything that I know on how to fix the problem on changing restaurants but still no luck. I tried to DL the one in MegaGames but it won't DL at all. I also cannot update the game because every time I try to do so, the patcher would say that I havn;t installed the game. I also tried to DL one of SoyNut's site above but still no luck.. So any advise or updates on this game?? I would realy appreciate it..

SoyNut: Thanks for the link. The one at TPB should be the same as this one as you said it is the same format and size. I downloaded this one. This game also keeps crashing in scenario 5 when the time approaches 12PM (noon) the first day. I don't think we can delete duplicate recipes in the menu. I know it really ****s especially when you create one by mistake .

joax80: Thanks to you too for the link. It is the same as the one SoyNut gave. Don't click at the arrow if you want to change restaurant, click at the restaurant name from the drop down list instead (I think I got this tips from TPB). It works for me in both campaign and sandbox mode. This game version is 1.21 so I think the only crack that will work is the Italian. Which crack did you use and can you get pass scenario 5? Did you try the patch from http://www.enlight.com/restaurant/re_english/downloads.htm?

The Italian crack works just like yk_lady said. It allows the game to get pass scenario 5 and no more crashing when changing cities/restaurant. The only downside is the save files prior to using the Italian crack won't be playable.
