I dwnld the torrent, followed the path but at the end on itunes says a problem occurred and stops. Do you guys have any idea, why? This problem really irritates.

I have tried again and now when I am trying to restore with the 1.1.4, it says iPhone can not be restored. An unknown error occured (20). Could it be from a sim or windows xp?

Mertseran, were you able to unlock to 1.1.4 prior to updating to 2.0? Did you run into problems after updating to the 2.0 custom firmware? Once you update to 2.0 you cannot simply restore to 1.1.4. There are ways to do it, but it's a different process (and complicated), you will have to Google for info on how to do it. After you've downgraded from 2.0 back to 1.1.4, make sure it is unlocked and working before repeating part three of the instructions. For those of you updating to 2.0, make sure your iPhone completed the first two parts of the instructions, which should unlock your iPhone to 1.1.4. So test your iPhone to make sure it is unlocked to 1.1.4 before proceeding to part three.

YEah I did unblock the phone 2 months ago. I updated yesterday and now nothing is hapening. I googled it, tried to downgrade it but, nothing worked.

Mertseran, follow the instructions in this ******* video to downgrade from 2.0 back to 1.1.4: http://***********/watch?v=DCh86zU_CFQ&feature=related Then make sure it is unlocked in 1.1.4... then use winpwn to pwn the 1.1.4 firmware... then update to the custom 2.0 firmware.

Sorry, Mininova doesn't let me post links. Go to "y_o_u_t_u_b_e" and search for "Downgrade 2.0 to 1.1.4 for iPod Touch/iPhone" videos. Follow the instructions there to downgrade from 2.0 back to 1.1.4.

1; you need to remove itunes 7.7 2; restart 3; install itunes 7.5 from filehippo 4; when you run itunes you will need to search for and remove the two itunes library files. you have 7.5 with the needed 7.7 drivers. 5; you can then shift restore 1.4 6; winpwn 1.4 as explained in .txt 7; itunes shift restore custom 2.0 8; iphone turn off autolock to prevent issues 9; update cydia 10; itunes restore backup that you made before you started by plugging in iphone 11; enjoy 12; enjoy respect to the really clever guys who make all this possible agile messenger pls

the above instructions will unlock and add cydia and any sim etc to an already upgraded series 1 iphone. im not sure if using only one pc would loose the backup. but i opted for the safest guaranteed way. the new torch app from da big B is quality again as usual. also check out the preferences app.

no disrespect to zibri. the app was good. however note in the steps above, when i started with an apple updated 2.0 and went through to an unlocked 2.0 i didn't use zibri dont be confused error code found during downgrade to 1.4? read near the bottom of http:// forums. macrumors. com/showthread. php?t=457556

I have been trying to downgrade the phone. I delete itunes 7.7 and download 7.5, change the names of the itunes library.... But, when I plug the phone, itunes does not recognize it even I put in the DFU mode and hold the home button. When I first plug it in , instead of playing one signal, now it plays 3 signals in a row and stops. Anybody knows how to deal with this? PLEAESE I NEED HELP, annoying...

OK... I'm going to jump the gun here and so HOLY CRUD IT WORKS!. I'll come back with some b@tchy comments if I change my mind, but DANG. Connected to Rogers with my 1st Gen and Firmware 2.0. only thing about the instructions. After the 2.0 update, it does the Neutering which takes a few minutes. Itunes also wants to restore at this time. I didn't think this would be a good idea so waited till the neutering went through it's stages - one or two resets. And now I have to check to be sure, but does this little bugger have a GPS in it like the new ones do????? the map seemed to triangulate me really nicely. don't think I had my current location cached. hmmmmmm? THANKS for this!!!!

No B@thcy comments. Everything works. I think the GPS Theory might be due to it picking up Cell Tower locations. GPS functionality doesn't appear to be there. Oh well. Already loaded a whack of free apps on the App Store. Only thing is, I dont' think my pictures were backed up. be sure to do that before the process. BIG Thanks again!!!!!!!

To make this clear to everyone : First of all, I am experienced with iPhone firmware upgrades, crashes etc... - This one is perfect: Errorless, Unlocks, Jailbreaks, Activates the iPhone automatically! You just need to follow the steps securely! - It has Cydia. - The original apple logos and settings. (So you could say its a original one thats jailbroken activated and unlocked, before you got it ...) Verified by lots of people, also the other positive comments Thankyou, mine crashed all time (because not all FW's are good when Pwnd - well this one is a great succes!). Lets kick apples asses!

nope it did not work as I thought??? just wanna tell you guys iphone was just released in japan July 11th 2008, and I think I know the prob but still its soo hard to downgrade it to 1.1.4??? I tried to install 1.1.4 already from itunes 7.5 but still its not working can anyone help???
