Having both types of systems, I can truthfully say they are both good. If I was made to choose between my xp desktop or my leopard macbook.... It would be a sad day. Xp has really become a very nice OS. But if the choice was between OS X and vista..... thats easy, Fuck vista.

I talked to a guy who has the windows 7 beta today. Holy shit I want it. It was what vista was supposed to be. Actually runs faster than XP, prettier than vista. here's the cool part though... its a combination of the xp kernel, vista kernel, AND A UNIX KERNEL. It will have the ability to run most mac apps and linux apps. holey shit i want. If I get a copy you guys will find out.

OMG boy! are you that fast to create rumours and let them run? First: The Windows 7 kernel is (will be rather) just an upgrade of the existing vista and windows server 2008 kernel. Microsoft has confirmed that on various conferences.. Second: You couldn't possibly have seen Windows 7 beta yet unless you know someone in the Windows 7 labs in person. And IF you really have seen it... well, I SIMPLY DON'T BELIEVE IN THAT, cause, if you haven't noticed, Windows 7 is first supposed to be launched in 2010, or in late 2009 (but I don't believe it since it's mircrosoft, I'll guess in the middle of 2010) :) no, I'm no Microsoft hater, writing from Vista right now, but I also am running Leopard 10.5.4 and Ubuntu 8.04 on my Asus. Microsoft has to proove otherwise if I am to be convinced. And to TehKeyMaster: Thanks for the download, nice one, thoug it is faster dl iLife and Office from elsewhere..
