having problems with this game, when trying to play, it says cant load saved game, wont let me play at all, anyone else have this problem, i am major fan of espalnds, get my nds roms here all the time, im sure i messed up, but would love to play this game, if anyone can help, please do, thanks everybody for all the great uploads....

the latest R4 firmware does not work for this rom.. wait for an updated rom. www.romulation.net has the updates as they come out

thanks so much, i'm new to the r4,figured i did something wrong, thanks for all your help. Is the r4 the best cartridge to use? from what i could find it was, any opinions ?

it nothing to do with your card firewall it the one in the nds file i had the same problem it could be to do with the firewall software on the games try opening the file and replacing the fire file find all you need to do this from http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=90078 it works fine for me you can use this for other games as well not just this one ive patched loads of my games that didnt work and all workfine now hope this helps

I too had the same problem using an R4 Card until i tried the above method posted by bridgylad (Thank You). it's pretty straight forward!
