the program itself scans 100% clean....the name/serial worked for about 20mins then they (spyware doctor) disallowed it...the updater is way dirty....you wouldnt have another name/serial would you? :)

My installation DEMANDED that I do a database update. It would not run without it. So, I reconnected the internet and loaded the update. Everything seems to run great for the superficial scans. I've been trying to run what are called DEEP SCANs lately. About 1/4 into a deep scan, the SpyWare Doctor sneaks a Trojan virus onto my machine in the "Program Files\Spyware Doctor\avdb\temp" directory. Its name is "IQUMJY~1.EXE". I have BitDefender antivirus. It flags the EXE immediately as a "Trojan.Crypt.Delf.R" virus. BitDefender effectively removes and quarantines it. I've repeated this deep scan scenario 5 times now before I go to bed since it takes hours. Every time, BitDefender catches it and quarantines it. I'm not sure, but could the makers of Spyware Doctor deliberately place a virus when they detect another cracked installation??? Or, is the patch defective and contains a very well hidden virus??? I'm lucky I have a package that detects this virus. Others might not be so lucky. Is this true? Or is this guy a asshole?

Just for your info as of today sept. 09 2008, the smart update has a lot of extra options other than the usual definition updates. I took a chance and installed them. The computer asked for a restart, I expected to "see trial" edition but to my surprise itt updated to 6.0.0.383 and is still full working version! Your the man TheOneX!

One more thing, I read somewhere that the actual, non pirated version of spyware doctor has around 800,000 intelli-signatures but my cracked one, from this torrent, has only 551,139. Is this true? Should this program just be used as a suppliment to other antispy programs?

Hey..the crack folder does not contain any update.exe file...wht's wrong? It just contains a .txt file "How to Activate.txt".....

Thanks TheOneX! This is a perfect release, updates perfectly and serial is not blacklisted. Installed it today and everything seems fine. Only one problem, is it just me or does the IntelliGuard make your computer laggg. I had to turn it off because it was slowing my computer down and surfacing the net was a pain but when i turned it off my pc runs smoothly. Anyone else experience it?
